ADT alone looked after their staff until Fedility came along. Many reaction officers have lost their lives. That is the danger of the job. They respond and arrive before the SAPS just to land up in a shooting. Criminals around the country are robbing security company fire arms. They would kill for it.

ADT guys teach them how to work and show them all the safety and Woking conditions so I say they unions must fight the contract that is dividing officers amang them self because salary is secret and confidential and if you are to ask who show you his payslip both of you can be fired due to failure y following company and labour law union must stop using you

The industry is regulated by the bargaining council. Just look in the government Gazette. Grade A is listed at R5800 per month. I think that is shockingly low but that is the negotiated wage for the job and it's law. Solutions 1. leave your job, none is forcing you to be there. Find an employer who will pay more. 2.Change industry. Clearly your talents are wasted at such low wages 3. Hang around and wait for the increases like the other guys who have been there 20 years.
