@matthewcaughey8898
@matthewcaughey8898 3 жыл бұрын
Most trucks in the us have the pistol ports welded shut. Once they went to semi autos the guns didn’t fit in the port anymore. Plus armored companies don’t want drivers leaving the seat to try to shoot at people. If your hopper gets held up the procedure is for you to drive off and leave them there.

In Afghanistan they didn't stop attacking convoys even when they where escorted by tanks. Maybe they should start moving money with drones or move away from using cash instead🤔
@cpt.awesome7281

@@PaletoB UAS could provide a significant advantage for tracking attackers' movements to reacquire what is stolen. The problem is a bird capable of such sustained operation would probably cost too much per hour of flight to even be worth guarding trucks like that. I don't know how much each truck tends to be worth and how much profit is made by CIT's like that so I can't speak like I fully grasp the situation, unfortunately.

@@cpt.awesome7281 here’s a thought for you. The armored companies used to give their guards .38 caliber Taurus revolvers. Some recycled some very well used S&W model 10s and they wouldn’t let you use your own gun. They paid barely above minimum wage and the trucks had all seen better days. These days some companies invested in better pay and better trucks. I think brinks is paying out 14 or 15 an hour. They’ve got all new armored P-1000 or better armored trucks and they issue their guards FN-509 9mm handguns. When I left Dunbar and Loomis they let you carry pretty much anything you wanted provided it was a police grade caliber ( 9mm .40 S&W 45 ACP ) I personally had an HK USP 9mm I carried with 5 extra mags. I had a .380 ankle gun, and when I had a big coat on I wanted a serbu super shorty but they wouldn’t let me have that on duty.

They need to do what needs to be done everywhere in the damn country. From the justice system to the power and water utilities from the police force to the municipalities and the government. And everywhere in between. They need to stop being fucken corrupt. Corruption is not only the thing that has brought south Africa down to just another African country. Here we go again no money is good enough but they real fingers is friends, family, neighbors, acquaintances and witnesses who either stand to benefit, scared because they not the victims or will pinpoint someone who is not close to them. Thugs are not space residents and we know everything and every single one of them. So why not save all lives and blow the whistle while they planning such acts before lives are ended You know they don't have a job most of them yet you accept their money, gifts, jobs and everything. So stop posting fingers to public officials when you got one in your house, neighbor, job, school and everywhere We fail ourselves then blame government and politicians for the thugs we groom. The government does not give birth to children they help curb the crime but we as society can cut it from the tail. Don't point others as thugs and turning a blind eye on your own

The dude came looking for me in his car. By then someone was yelling for police, he drove away fast. It was just instinct. I knew he would shoot me if I just stood there. The police caught him just minutes later, with a loaded 38.

There's no hope for SA . Only through Jesus Christ!
@jay2bnvd
@jay2bnvd 3 жыл бұрын
(Why does KZbin leave the thumbs down button if it does nothing?) In the latest census, almost 80% of South Africans professed to be Christian...I fail to see how religion is the only hope. What must they do for Jesus to save them? Should we force all criminals to become Christians? Many of them are, but are driven into crime by circumstances beyond their control. Bad as their crimes are -and I do believe in the death penalty -you rhetoric just simply does not make sense. If your answer is that Jesus will save everyone because he holds all the power, then why did he allow things to deteriorate like this in the first place? If your answer is that he allowed it because people do not pray enough...80% of a 58m population is 46,6m: That's how many Christians are already praying to Jesus. Or is there a specific person that should start praying? Does Jesus allow the suffering of all -despite the prayers of 46,6m -just because a select few are not praying hard enough. Please explain your statement, because to me it simply does not make sense.

When the fight starts nobody on that highway is prepared to gamble with his/her life - outcome? Thieves win because they surprised their target vehichle and there are about 15 to 20 of them with AK's.

Said insurance costs more and more with each robbery. Insurance isn't a cornucopia of money, it's the manifestation of a risk pool. We Americans rarely have this kind of nonsense. So far.

@@bryanhurd9955 not really. The fuel costs are crazy and only sometimes it can be justified. But the small amount filling ATMs etc will always have to be on the ground. Even if they land near the ATM they'll get robbed at it. Helicopters are used for gold and diamond transportation from the mines. And the companies dont really care about the loss of life so much.

These CIT security personnel should be armed with SBWs not those full sized shotguns. You can see in the Leo Prinsloo attempted heist that M4 was cumbersome inside the truck. Uzis, MP7s, MP4s, Tavors, Kriss Vectors or the Street Sweeper shotgun what happened to those magnificent SA made shotguns?
