It is truly mindblowing to see that people in the comments are reacting in a positive way to a kid that has not answered not even one of the questions posed to him. It becomes repulsive when you think that his insane salary is paid through EU taxpayers money. In the whole video you see an uneducated person trying to make sense out of that he is saying, but achieving the bare minimum when it comes to convincing that he knows anything about the EU and how it works. The phrase “I don’t know but I will learn”, is not acceptable when you bear the responsibility of representing 1.2 million people. It must be stressed that there is a massive difference between direct democracy that is known since ancient Greece and populism. However, here you find not the one nor the other, but a pure puppet. Aside from the fact that there will be surely a breach of privacy in his work, leaving him unemployed very soon, he cannot even give people the power he is promising due to the nature of the work that does not allow for it. I guess he will learn that soon…… When you are in politics, you need to have a certain education and a vision, in order to respect the mandate given to you by the people but knowledgable enough to also adjust. It is truly sad to see that true education has become extinct and we have people like this in positions of power. It is disappointing to see that people no longer cultivate a character but imitate certain role models having as a priority only content creating and leaving everything else aside. I am disappointed to see that this is the reflection of our society and that social education is zero. We are doomed. This is now a fact. However, Russel Brand did an excellent job, remaining neutral throughout the whole interview, simplified and repeated all the questions, probably hoping he would get an answer that never came…. ANSWER A GODDAMN QUESTION FOR ONCE!

i don't know why Fidias thinks he is the first to do this. The European parliament has many famous people like athletes, actors and singers that have no clue about politics. They were just voted because people know them. This was always the case.

He's correct about Cypriot politicians not giving a fuck. They have no values. Their values are whatever will get them elected each time and get them in good terms with oligarchs while in power. However, I've heard from my Cypriot friends that Fidias is not doing much for Cyprus either. Not that he is expected to, he just entered the world of politics. But I'm told that justice and values is not near the top of his list either. In a country that 50 years later is still technically at war, 1/3 of it still being illegally occupied, it's capital split in half, and properties stolen and redistributed to colonizers from mainland turkey. And Fidias just shrugs "oh well".

I m not sure fidias is the biggest example of resposinibility either. He wasn't the most responsible person in his videos in the past. Yeah, saying sounds nice. But you know words without actions have no value. I mean, the guy says the people trusted him before of his videos where he travel to countries with no money. That is false information. Those videos promote quite the different feeling from trust. He commited crimes doing those videos. Personaly that does not inspire me much of trust or respoinsiblity. Hope that he would prove me wrong though.

Αν τύχει να το θκιαβασεις Φειδία, όσο μπορείς να εισαι καλός ακροατής, μιας τζιαι πρεσβεύεις τον ακροατή του κοινού😉 Σε podcast που έχεις με τον δάσκαλο-φυσικό σου, φαίνεται το ποσό σου αρέσει να ακούσεις και να μαθαίνεις. Τζιαι ο συγκεκριμένος άνθρωπος (ο δάσκαλος σου) έχει απίστευτες γνώσεις για διάφορα θέματα, κυρίως γεωπολιτικά. Αν το είχε όρεξη τζιαι μεράκι ήταν να ήθελα πολλά να υπάρχει ένας τέτοιος άνθρωπος αν οι στην πολιτική σκηνή, κάπου που να ακούγεται παραπανω η γνώμη του. Να τον έχεις σαν πρότυπο σου, με την ταπεινοσυνη του, με την σπίθα και την αγάπη του για την γνώση, την απλότητα και ευθύτητα που έχει η ομιλία του, αλλα που πετυχαίνει τζινο που θέλει να πει, ακόμα τζιαι αν κάποιες φορές μακρυγορα, εν επειδή θέλει να πει όσα ενδιαφέροντα ξέρει μέσα στον χρόνο που του δίνεται να μιλήσει. Εν εύστοχα τζιαι οι αδικος κόπος τα λόγια του. Μακάρι να εν έτσι ουλοι οι άνθρωποι, οι μόνον οι πολιτικοί. Αν δεν πρόκειται να εν στην ομάδα σου, ελπίζω να τον συμβουλευεσαι, έστω στο που και που.. Εν μεγάλη ευτυχία να μπορείς να έχεις μέντορα έτσι ανθρώπους! Έτσι, θέλοντας να επιστρέψω σε τζίνο που μου "εξινησε" λιο στην αρχή του ποντκαστ (αλλά έτυχε να το ξαναδώ τζιαι σε άλλα σου βίντεο ) ενει να αφήνεις τον άλλο να ολοκληρώσει την πρόταση του τζια μετά να ξεκινάς να πεις τα δικά σου, τις απόψεις σου. Να ξέρει ο άλλος ότι εν τον εσιεις χεσμενο. Το να διακόπτεις κάπως απότομα τον συνομιλητή σου για να ακουστεί η γνώμη σου περισσότερο, εν διαφέρει πολλά που τα debate των πολιτικών, η αληθκεια. Δλδ εν τζιαι λέμε να μεν διακόπτεις αμάν ο άλλος ξεκινά να παίρνει το θέμα αλλού από ότι πρέπει, αλλα να είσαι "τζιαμε" στην συζήτηση με τον άλλο. Τουτα εν θέματα που ο Καθένας μας πρέπει να μπορεί να δουλέψει με τον εαυτό του. Εν σε δάκτυλο δείχνω, εν γενικό πρόβλημα της γενιάς μας. Εύχομαι εσύ, η Βολτ τζιαι οι οικολόγοι τζιαι οποιοι άλλοι καλοβουλοι άνθρωποι υπάρχουν τζιαμε έξω να βάλετε το λιθαράκι σας να πάρει μπρος η αλλαγή τζιαι να εποφελειται ο λαός τζιαι η γη μας παραπάνω. Για να αφήσουμε στους επόμενους που μας κάτι καλό. Μεν τολμήσεις να σε παρασύρει η πολιτική, το "νέο αίμα" εθκιαλεξε σε εσένα, βάλε κάποιους στόχους, πρέπει να υπάρχει κάτι σαν "λίστα", σαν πρότζεκτ... κάμε την έρευνα σου να μάθεις όσα μπορείς για να μπορείς να τους τα πεις, ρώτα αμα θέλεις τζιαι τον κόσμο (θέλεις σιουρα μια back up ομάδα για να μπορεί να θκιαβαζει τα μυνηματα του κόσμου τκλ), άμα θέλεις μπορείς να καμεις τύπου "συμμαχία" με τις ομάδες που ήταν να παεις. Μόνος σου εν καλα, έχουμε το κάτι διαφορετικό, αλλα ποιος είπε ότι εν μπορείς να συνεργαστείς τζιαι να ενωθούν κάποιες απόψεις? Να βοηθήσεις τις ομάδες π εν κάπως μειονότητα να ακουστούν παραπάνω? Εγώ εν σε ψήφισα😂, η επιλογή μου ήταν που τις ομάδες π ανάφερα πιο πάνω.. επδ έχουν κάποιο πλάνο (η αληθκεια θέλεις μιαν ομάδα, οι κατά ανάγκη δημόσια πρόσωπα, αλλα δύο μυαλά εν καλύτερα π ενα) τζιαι επδ ο τρόπος π εκφράζουνται εν κάτι π προσωπικά προτιμώ.. Αλλά καμνω invenstment στην εξέλιξη σου. Θέλω να έχω ελπίδες για το καλύτερο μας μέλλον. Οπότε εύχομαι να δούμε μιαν ωραία εξέλιξη που σένα ως πολιτικός τζιαι ως άνθρωπος!
