An adorable farm girl. She can cook, Milk a cow, help change fields for them, and do her chores along side of everyone in the family. She can carry her own weight. 😂❤❤😊😅

Love seeing Lily and Blaze just having fun together. Lily has developed a really nice seat and balance. That's a lot easier to do if you have a horse at home that you can jump on anytime, bareback or with a saddle, and just noodle around. That is much harder to develop if you are just taking lessons once a week on a lesson horse.

I got my first pony, Paint, when I was 8. He was a champion pony jumper and his owner was moving to bigger mount. Since i was a new rider he really enjoyed slacking off. One time we got to go on a group trail ride. At one spot it was customary to run the horses up a big grassy hill. we got there and everyone took off... I figured i was riding my old nag... Boy did he run! bad news for him tho , cos then I knew he had it in him!

An important thing to do with Blaze is, let him gallop but transition him to a collected canter, gallop, canter, trot transitions so he doesn’t always want to gallop because he is a high energy pony😊
