I think Hoosiers is the best sports film ever made, but Field of Dreams is so special, I view it honestly as more of a heartwarming drama than anything else. I love the look on his face when he hears that. Burt Lancaster was incredible in this role. He hears the batter missing the Curve he sort of trains his daughter to hear it. On the Atlanta Braves field "peanut boy" gives the true test with the kid with John Goodman and the others being there to watch. I like what Robert Patrick "Vince" says to the gang "Jesus Christ and nobody saw this" and he tells Matthew Lillard "Philip" "You're Fired".
