Had a GMC 2500 HDAll Terrain X in 2017 and loved it. Moved to a 3500 RAM Prospector. Clears a 41” tire with 3” of lift and factor warranty. 4k payload, 55 gallon tank. Glad to see the IFS HD gets some AEV parts. They each have there own benefits for sure

Watching this while getting my seat massage in my 2024 Ford F350 SRW 6.7HO Platinum Tremor. I almost got the truck in this video but the 500hp and 1200 foot pounds of torque and the 3868 Payload I obviously went with the Ford. It was honestly a hard choice but the payload was the difference because of RV we were also buying at the time. The other thing that swayed me to the Ford was all of the gauges you’re able to see I can see my turbo. I can see what gear I’m in. There’s a lot of different settings. I do like the way that GMC looks better from the front. It’s a magnificent truck. My wife still would’ve chose the beauty over the brawn and is not totally happy with the decision I made lol

I like running in the selectable Off Road mode in my 2500HD ZR2. It makes navigating rough terrian like a dream. I have the 1500 ZR2 and the terrain mode is good too. That rig is much more nimble off the beaten path.

Went with 24’ 2500 at4 just because the payload was a lot more but also the fact the at4x aev was a lot more and dealer couldn’t give dealer pricing on it😅

What a great looking truck. I'd like to see manufacturers offer a selectable front locker that can be activated independently of the rear locker. Nothing can compare to the driver observing the terrain and applying throttle to maintain slow momentum. When progress stops you need wheel spin to activate the traction control. It's much harder to get the truck moving up an incline or over an obstacle from a dead stop rather than using slow speed momentum. I use my front locker 5 to 1 over my rear locker. For inclines and obstacles, front lockers rule and are often more Tread Lightly friendly to the terrain.

@@MacShaulayShaulkin When left at stock height, these trucks handle twice that load in the sled pulling competitions with extreme traction and weights added to the front of the truck. Front CV's incur more abuse when a tire is in the air spinning and makes contact with the ground causing a sudden stop. Just my experience.

Bison rear bumpers are always mounted crooked on the 2500HDs. Corner support brace is too short, so when it's torqued to the frame it pulls the bumper forward and upward. Seen since touching the quarter panel.

The l8t gasser gets the same mpgs...lol i have 2023 l8t lifted 3in with 35s and i get 14 city 18 highway... before lift i got 15-16 city 20 hw only 6 speed trans too

My 24 Denali 2500 has the max tow package that ups the payload capacity to 3,280 lbs. Just a thought, if you need payload more than off-road shocks, everything else is identical :)

Love seeing your review here. The AEV 2500 is amazing and I would love it. Price tag is wild, but if I could afford it, I would in a heartbeat. Did GMC or AEV say why they didn't do the 3500 too like they do with the Ram Prospector XL?

That is an important question. I suspect AEV will address the 3500 and other cab configurations, but adding the locker will be the linchpin
