Yeah Tom, I just painted few weeks ago oil base, it takes (awhile) for the smell to leave completely 😂

The Project Farm man recently tested a few of those Chinese diesel space heaters. A 50/50 mixture of used oil and diesel fuel works fine in them to heat shops. You could probably use a mixture of old gasoline and used motor oil to heat your shop to a nice 72 degrees in winter for free. I bought an expensive roll around air conditioner & heat pump combination to cool my house a little bit on the generator if power goes out after a hurricane.

My Tractor Supply take used oil, but I buy my oil from Home Depot. Buy some wire ties at Harbor Freight 11" for 1.39 for 100 0f them.

I buy my oil in 2 gallon jugs. Been a few years but took 50 gallons to a local shop and donated it. They heat with it in winter. Here in mn 12/12/24. -25wind chill

@@Fatboy.25 yea there's a door right there I went out of, think the drivers use it, they keep it unlocked

I go to my local transfer station. They have tanks for coolant and oil. Just drive up and dump.

Toooom Doooobyyyy!! Hey, Tom! Yeah man, it's gonna be a while before your floor paint stops off gassing. But, I'd rather put up with that smell for a bit, rather than have to paint my floor every year with water based paint. Shop is looking good! If you have a day or two where you have no work, I'd crank up the heat in there and crack a door or gable vent (if you have one) and let it air out while it cures. Good luck with whatever you do! Have a great day! God bless.

I am in the neighboring city , I take my oil to the city recycling center. That might not work for you. So let’s see which is the best place for you.

I like your field trip videos their quite entertaining Tom. I use Orielly's here in northern Utah for my oil disposal and they want your name, address, zip code and how many quarts or gallons you have to dispose of . I'm like you I don't give them the correct info lol. Take care sir and catch you on your next video.
