Field Work - Simplex 4005 & 4903 Test in a Small College Building

Total system consists of the following:
Simplex 4005
Simplex 4903s (don't remember the rest, but they sound electronic, free run)
Wheelock RSSs as remote strobes
Simplex T-Bar pulls
Simplex 2098 smoke detectors
System Sensor SS25LO (outdoor strobe)
Very interesting system. No sync. All continuous. Unfortunately, my lead tech silence the system before I could get any clips of the panel, but that's why I took a picture of this one!

Whoever did this install knows RSS's are much easier to work with than 4904's.

Are the horn strobes 4903 9236s?

Either that or 9238s. They also have the 9237, which I'm not sure what candela it has.

How long did the production 4903-9236-38 series lasted?

These are Like the Test Subjects of the would be the later Truealert Brand. These Devices Were made when Simplex Began Making their own devices and They stopped buying Directly From Faraday/Siemens. The 4903-92** Brands are The Products Simplex were testing for their Truealert Brand of devices. I believe the 4903/4901 Devices are Currently still made, The 4903-9238 Was made till about 2006 and the 4901-98** line is Still made, In Electronic forms too and Mechanical lines.
