Field Work - Wheelock AS Horn/Strobe Test in a School

I have Specalert Advances inside my school. Quiet. Remote strobes inside classrooms, Ceiling mounts inside the library, horn strobes through the building.

My school has Wheelock RSS strobes in the bathrooms and classrooms. The office has Wheelock AS Horn strobes and the outside area has Wheelock AS Horn strobes and the cafeteria has the Wheelock AS Horn strobes. (my school doesn’t have a hallway, it only has an outside area) and the gym area has Wheelock MT Horns

At my old school they had wheelock as everywhere and rss in the bathrooms and fronts of the classrooms. IN THE BACK OF THE CLASSROOMS WAS AN AS!!! There were mt horisontal strobes outside

I have just watched this on KZbin and they actually have those Wheelock AS horn/strobe model of Fire alarms at both the Motel 6 in Centralia in one of the rooms and also at the Lowe's here in Monroe and holy crap, those things are LOUD!

I was at that one hotel in Phoenix when the fire alarm went off after some kids put a lighter to it, the alarm was also a wheelock AS but some where put to continuous

Nice! There has to be a way to get those two FCPS to sync. At my middle school there is an FCI E-3 Addressable Panel with MS-7AF Pull stations with I think rebranded Fire lite SD355T's. Wheelock NS's inside, exeeders in the cafeteria. RSS strobes, one Wheelock NH in the girl's gym, Wheelock AS's outside. In the portables there are i3's, EST Sigas, EST Genesis, and Integrities outside. There is one loud P2W outside which is loud you can hear it on the other side of the school. Not to mention some unknown alarm outside the school that is spread out. It sounds like an AS. Any ideas on what alarm that is?

The unknown alarm does not have a Strobe, but sounds very similar to an AS.

Nice! Did you see if these were the fixed candela models made prior to 2003 or were they the multi candela models made from 2003-2010? I hope to have a job like this someday; I'm looking at majoring in electrical engineering in college. Oh and BTW those are either BGX-101L pulls or NBG-10LX pulls. I wouldn't be too surprised if there was some NBG-12LX's thrown in the mix too though as a retrofit.

my school has wheelock as horn strobe the 2nd gen ones in the hall ways but in the basement hall ways they have the new hornstrobe where it floods a lot and the classrooms the lunch room and the gym in th counselors office is an rss and in the bathooms too ht pulls are mostly bg10lx and bg12lx and the smokes are this weird notifier addresseble detectors and som conventional the panel is a notifier afp200

We silent tested all initiating devices prior to setting off the horn strobes. If a device has a break glass rod in also not breaking it for an inspection.
