Great video. I remember my introduction to trench clearing from over thirty years ago like it was yesterday. Camp Pendleton in November, the trenches were waist deep, in some places, in water. My nuts tried crawling up my ass to hide.

I bet Army Rangers are masters at trench clearing, I've seen video's of it and it looks badass, and violent.

How likely do you see trenches being utilized by anyone other than our side?

Defensive works especially when the fight would go to the conventional phase. Trenches are being used by both sides in Ukraine and videos are being pushed big time on YT about them.

I personally think every future conflict in the coming years will have trenches. Stale mate caused by sophisticated technology and warfare being driven by indirect fires to include drones will only drive this point further. Unfortunately the harsh reality is it’ll be nasty.

when you say rehearse at the end, you mean in training right? how can you reharse this in the field during an operation? if you're in the front line shouldn't you be either moving or defending?

@@sbura_ You don't send everyone back for training at the same time. Just like you don't have everyone sleep or eat at the same time. It can be done.

I believe you should standardize the uniform of your unit. That way you can more easily identify each other from a distance.
