These videos are so addictive, and I think I understand why; Because it shows what we, as people, are meant to naturally do. The desire to watch, and then rewatch them stems from this. Awesome job as always, Matt.Keep it up!

"... meant to naturally do" i find that comment funny.. bringing a car full with non natural stuff into nature. Dont get me wrong i like his videos but this comment is silly.
@brentcanfield88837 ай бұрын
@@owi2k7 no, it's not silly;you're just not comprehending what I said accurately.Your reply is silly. The point is, he sets a great example to people in general. He's saying get OUT there and actually experience life.Don't just stay inside the house all the time and let your life rot away-Which is obviously what I was referencing when I said his videos show what we're "meant to naturally do." "Bringing a car with non natural stuff" is irrelevant; the point is to get OUT there and just experience nature any way you can. I mean, what would you rather him do-Only use sticks and parts of vines to make fishing gear as well, so he doesn't bring "non natural stuff" when he does these videos? C'mon son.

There's a neat little trick with garlic you can do. Finely chop it, get it in a pile and add salt to the pile. Then take the flat of your knife to the pile crush it down slightly and drag the knife across the chopping board, do this a few times and you'll have a nice paste. Works a treat.

The garlic damper would be a lot nicer if you start off with oil or butter then crush and finely chop all the garlic. Then chuck the butter/oil in a pan with the chopped garlic. melt/cook for 2-5 minutes until the garlic flavour infuses into the butter/oil then remove out all the chunks of garlic and add the garlic infused butter/oil into the damper that way it's super garlicly like garlic bread without chunks of garlic.

Ya getting the right idea with the crabs Matt good stuff man ! But just checking the sections near the abdominal flap will not properly determine if your crab is full you need to check the underside of the carapace. If a crab has rock hard sections near the abdominal flap it does not mean he will be properly full all over, he will likely have a full body n legs but his claws won’t be full. When you check the underside of the carapace and it’s rock hard you can be sure your crab will be full all over. Great videos man always exiting !

Now I'm on probably my 30th video, yelling "FISH ON FISH ON" in my head whenever the rod bends, and lovin it all. Really goes to show that it's the intent and finesse put into these videos that shines, regardless of the person filming it. But then you're a bloody good videographer and have a lot of bush knowledge so I really can't fault anything here. Thank you Matt! Also pro tip (not really) for your garlic damper: once you slice the garlic, sprinkle some of that chunky salt on top and smear it into the garlic with the flat of your knife. It'll coax out the garlic juices and spread the flavours better throughout the bread! Or do the same but mix the garlic with butter for garlic butter
