You're in Perak state! If you have time please check beautiful Lenggong, Bukit Merah Laketown, Kuala Kangsar, Taiping Lake Garden & Pangkor Laut island. There are many waterfalls and rivers in Perak.

if coming to Penang, i would recommend u go to Pantai Kerachut treking, trying nasi kandar at Hameediyah @ Dean Jelutong... also you can go to Kedah Sedim White Water River & Tree Top Walk, Ulu Legong Hot Spring..

4 days of stay there is roughly the Malaysian minimum wage so yeah, the average local would not be able to experience all that and even if they wanted to, there are better ways to spend that amount of money. I mean air flight is cheap (kinda), you can book travels all over the SEA with that kind of money.
