Great film on fallow. Niall, Cathy and Stevie: take a bow! Cathy's independent scientific knowledge with Niall and Stevie's every day hands on knowledge makes for brilliant viewing. If Cathy is on Twitter, it would be great If her Twitter details could be shared so I can follow as I am sure there are topics we could forward to her or include her in discussion which confronts the idiocracy that prevails there. Anyway, on to fallow. Love them as a deer. Never saw or heard one even after 43 years of living at home in Scotland. We see 1 or 2 every morning when my wife and I take the dogs out. Love looking at them. Love stalking them and love eating them. As for sika. I know many people think they are the best deer. And one of them is a close friend that has half a dozen in his field at home. Personally, I would shoot every single one of the buggers North or South of the Watford Gap. Fallow? Good. Keepers. They were here before the ice age. So, they are locals. Sika: Bad. Shoot the buggers. Great show, thanks again. "Stay safe" (which I believe is the new touch stone). CJ PS Lovely Blaser binoculars. The rest of the Northern European countries have a much better relationship with hunting than us in the UK. When I was out in Bavaria for my brother's wedding they had a field trial on national TV.

Cathy obviously had a nightmare! Gut shot and then punctured the gut on the fallow that was head shot! She seems to have plenty of knowledge but little practical experience! Keep going Cathy it will all come together
