Super show!! Great to see Paul out of his comfort zone and being the novice. Great shot under pressure. Now if only we could get him over to Ireland for a hunt!

Outstanding video. David has a great talent, other than the News. LOL The Eastern Cape is a great place to hunt. Waidmannsheil to Paul on his Kudu, from a transplanted American in Cape Town.

6.5 CM a great long range round! Not when you use a low BC soft point bullet though! Shocked you didn’t chose a 143 ELD-X Great vid though
@tchadwic826 жыл бұрын
Tristy1987 agree !!!
@billiebleach78896 жыл бұрын
Tristy1987 why would he? A fifty yard shot....you can take any caliber you want. And even if it’s further off: range, dial out your clicks...pull the trigger. And round nose bullets, in my experience, deliver sufficient stopping-power without ruining all the meat like you do with those expanding bullets that ruin way too much meat. (Although I do not know how the 143 ELD-X behaves on impact, so....I’m just giving my personal, absolutely non professional, opinion here). Peace

Billie Bleach he’s took the 6.5 Cm for long shots but he’s using a rubbish bc bullet. Defeats his main objective! Regards to bullet I don’t want to get into a massive bullet debate but trust me wen I say if your shot placement is wrong any animal will run on & meat will be damaged! I would personally recommend the 147 eld-m at 6.5 CM velocities buy you will need a 1-7.5-1-7 twist to stabilise it correctly at range to make if efficient enough for accurate Shots. In all fairness I would have taken my trusty 270 win & had done with it
@billiebleach78896 жыл бұрын
Tristy1987 I can definitely agree on the capabilities of the good old .270....the 6.5CM will have to stay around for many years to come before it comes even near the amounts of meat the .270 put in the freezer. Probably (one of) te most versatile calibers ever...the .270 has long proven to be more than a hype
@Tristy19876 жыл бұрын
Billie Bleach why do you always say meat damage for??? Learn to shoot the thing & put the bullet in the correct place and you will get zero meat/ carcass damage! Btipd got neck shooting & a bonding core/ soft point for body shots. Simple
