This is Amazing! I was sitting next to my dad at about 19. He was explaining that 60-80 yes is about max with a shotgun. Dad used to run a skeet and trap range with the Isaac Walton League at the 7S Air Force National Guard base at the Portland, Oregon Airport. As he was finishing saying that the small mound about 80 yrs away was maximum, a dove kick out of a tree and flew behind the mound. Almost without even pausing his sentence, the Remington Winchester 870 came up and the dove went down. The shot was some near the 90-100 yards mark. He continued, well I guess it will shoot a little further. Amazing!
