Bruce Hood some do, most just don’t think of it like that, we see it as a way of nature and that dying of old age or disease is far worse.

No, they hunt the animal, clean it process and eat it. Instead of a fox ripping it apart or a bird of prey doing the same. Innocence is a human concept that nature doesn't share, this is the real world and everything people own like leather shoes, belts, the meat they eat from the supermarket and products they use are not taken anywhere nearly as humane as this. Deer have no natural preditor in the UK and introducing wolves is out of the question, to make sure the deer survive as a species this type of hunting is 100% necessary.
