The calibre is the size of bullet the rifle is chambered in. What he's shooting here is a 6xc which is similar to a .243 round. .308 is a very popular choice when it comes to deer stalking and is very versatile as you can reduce its power by reducing the grain count in the cartridge when shooting smaller deer.

I do always wish that natural selection would take place amongst humans once again. Especially in this day and age.
