Congratulations guys. Now for a laugh... I was 22 in 1963 and I left Sydney by ship for London... Took 6 weeks.. Within 3weeks I met my partner and we were together for 43 years living in Sydney..He passed away in 2016.. Now for a laugh.. We both came to Sydney in 1969 I don't know what my mother said to my aunts but they bought wedding presents and after they knew it was a guy they had to take back the gifts to the stores for a refund.. Thank you! Our rings say Whiskey & Donuts, a name we came up with on one of our first dates which was a fun run/scavenger hunt. We had donuts earlier that morning (why before a run I'm not sure!) and then it turns out a friend of Benny's worked at the bar where all the runners met before the run started. His friend asked if we wanted a shot (at 8 am!!!) and we decided we would. So when it came time for a team name, it became apparent that we would name ourselves after what was in our bellies! ;)

In a way a lot of LGBTIQs have similarities with Bambi. They have to overcome threats and obstacles others don’t have to face. Not seldom they have got to defend their basic rights of being, what they are. At the very end it gets well for those, who can develop the strength to believe that there‘s a Faline to be at their side one day. Though it’s not their fault but some can‘t escape the fire, the dogs or the hunters, but some like these two guys do. Actually I am not sure, whether they had that metaphor in mind, when they had chosen the Tuxedos with the deer pattern but it’s as wonderful as these amiable and handsome men are. May they have a long and happy life together with all the strength, all their freakyness and their particular sense of humor. That’s what keeps love alive! Good luck to them.

Thank you! We actually didn't choose the pattern based on Bambi but I guess it fits. Our friend who was on Project Runway designed these jackets and had this material and we thought it would go well with the forest/fake taxidermy theme we were doing. ;)

Thank you, Ted! Our jackets are not made of hide but are printed fabric. Our friend, Daniel, who was on Project Runway made these for us. I would die in the Texas heat if I was wearing a jacket made of hide! :)
