Hi all!
Just a quick video to show you a hidden feature I found out the other day.
Hopefully this is useful for some of you. Please leave any comments below as usual.

the dark knight has gained information on another hidden feature on the mrk 6 fiesta, first hold in the button at the end of the indicator stalk then turn your key until the dash lights come on . wait a couple of seconds and on the led screen the word test will appear, then release the button and the screen will do a gauge sweep. press end button again and it will do an l.e.d test, press again and it will go black. keep pressing and it will scroll through lots of options including a built in voltmeter which will also show your car is charging correctly. there are lots of options on here and the screen will stay on whichever one you choose until you remove the key. i hope this is helpful and have fun with it. regards from the batman.

i got the mk5 fiesta facelift style and it works only difference is that when i do it does not say home safe lights on nothing shows found it by accident but its handy at night to make sure your safe

2015 US version, I do the same thing by pulling the headlight lever back after shutting off the engine. Turn engine and light switch off and the headlights go off like normal, pull the headlight lever back, like switching from high to low beams, and the high beam lights come on and stay on for about 30 secs and turn off. Doesn't work during the day though because of the light sensor, just flashes the high beams.

On models with AUTO lights function, do the same. But turn the knob to AUTO and then back to O. Safe home lights will stay on for quite a while.

Hi my mk6 fiesta had started making a really loud banging clanking noise when turning the wheel full lock and when changing gear it makes a squeak noise do you know what they could be?

Hi, is it a constant noise or does it bang with the speed of the wheel? it make worth getting under the car and seeing if the front wheel(s) are catching anything on full lock. does the squeek come from the clutch pedal or the actual engine?

Has a front spring broke?, the Mk6 are prone to springs breaking in the same place. Does it look lower at the front than normal?

brother i have ford fiesta 1.4 tdci my problem is that whenever i start the car battery warning light comes on the dash but if i fully press the throttle all the way to 5k rpm it starts charging and light , this goes offf , plz help me to solve this issue . this problem started when i changed the battery

Sounds like the aux belt is slipping and it’s not getting the charge to the battery. Or the connections are bad. Does the belt squeak? Try taking the metal connections off and giving them a sand with sand paper to clean them up. Also make sure the batt terminals are clean and fastened properly if you’ve had this off

Is this feature supposed to stay on automatically after you activate it? I done what was show, turned the engine off and switched the lights and the lights came on. However, after going out to the car roughly an hour later and driving it to my destination, switched the engine off and the lights don't turn on? Is this supposed to happen

sadly this is a one-time feature i believe. so you will need to do the process each time you need the lights on.

One a slightly unrelated topic. My MK6 radio display stays lit, showing the date and time even after the engine has been switched off. Is this a malfunction?

@@lunch2102 oh yeah sorry, If you keep pressing the left (trip) stalk button you 'll see a menu option on the display that says settings or something alike. you can change a few settings on there.
