This is the most accurate explanation for 12H Mars that I ever heard! My 12th house is in Libra, and yes I am diagnosed with bipolar depression also ADHD, I am perpetually going through the motions regarding my ambitions, motivation comes in waves, intense bouts of concentrated efforts followed by periods of lack of energy. And yes, I feel claustrophobic whenever something or someone tries to restrict my freedom but I'm not directly combative about it, instead of direct fighting I walk away to do my own thing, hence why I've been living overseas since 2008, far far away from my very controlling family. This was really cool!

Omgosh, I have Mars in the 12th in Libra and a controlling and actually unusually cruel family. But unlike you I wasn't able to escape them and now my health is wrecked, I think they totally destroyed me. I have Saturn in the 12th as well, I wonder if you do too.

@@yikes7607 I have Pluto, Saturn and Mars in my 12th, Saturn and Pluto make a Square to my Sun in the 9th, my father's Ketu is conjunct my Sun, his parents were Spanish immigrants in Brazil, surprise, surprise I ended up moving to Spain and been living here since 2008! I think some events are predestined, I was meant to live in the land of my father's ancestors (Sun in 9th, 12th Stellium), as I was meant to break free from my controlling mother and siblings by moving overseas instead of fighting them, hence Mars in the 12th... A couple of years ago I had my nodes return, ever since Rahu went over Chiron and my natal Moon, Ketu was conjunct my natal Ketu then moved through my Uranus, Rising, Mars, Saturn and it's currently conjunct my natal Pluto, while transiting Pluto is Squaring my natal Pluto and opposing my natal Sun (they call Trans. Pluto opposed natal Sun astral hell for a reason 😀) finishing up the process of getting rid of toxic family in my life, making them part of my past, I feel like I'm being born again.

Even if it's just a few states away, make yourself less available to them, that includes restricting access to your social media as well, that includes people close to them too, the less they know the less they can use against you to sabotage your life, it ain't easy to walk away, but trust me it's worth it! @@blooming_Lotus1493 I see, thanks for replying. I'm glad you found freedom and peace, I can't even imagine how that feels. Despite having Mars and Saturn in the 12th in common and the same Scorpio Ascendant, the rest in our charts seems different... I wonder if I was meant to become ill because of my family's abuse, or even if suicide is predestined for me. Being honest I've no reason to live, no attachment to life anymore. I have a lot of 8th house energy in my chart, so I wonder if I'm meant to die by my hand. Ketu is conjunct my Scorpio ascendant, so that's the first house, my body. The Sun is my Atmakaraka and it's in the 8th house. I have no security in life, and I couldn't escape my family and build anything of my own. And I noticed that in my chart the benefic planets turned malefic by influence of the Badhaka house. I live an extremely isolated life, I don't even remember the last time I saw the sun... I mean this literally. All in all, I don't know if I'm reading this correctly, but to me it looks like maybe I am being led towards a negative ending, perhaps such things are fated after all.

@@yikes7607 I have Ketu conj. my rising as well, when I was younger at 18yo I did try to end my life, to my surprise I woke up 2 days later... I guess I had some contracts to fulfill, 2 years later I gave birth to my daughter and those thoughts went away, I'm 39yo now, these last 2 years have been soul crushing yet I want to fight for my life and freedom more than ever even tho giving up would be so much easier instead... I'm so sorry you feel this way, I can relate and trust me it gets better with age, especially if you mindfully practice non attachment, giving up on relationships was hard, realizing all the betrayal coming from my own mother and siblings was devastating, I only started to come to terms with my reality after seeing that my best bet is to practice non attachment so it's less painful, practicing acceptance that what I'd like and what is are very different, the love was never there so I noticed that if I wanted it I should learn how to give it to myself, a bf or husband was just not enough, that's when I learned about Re-parenting oneself, it was a game changer, you should look it up, also, put your heart and soul into finding your purpose, to me it's nursing, it fills my heart with joy to be of service to others, I'm going back to school soon to further my education and specialize in midwifery, you have no idea how much I cried when I started learning Vedic Astrology and so many important aspects pointed in this direction, my D-1 Sun is in Pushya, Moon in Krittika, in my D-10 I have Rahu and Vx in Bharani in the 9th (it's the midwife of the nakshatras) and so on. Maybe you can use Vedic Astrology to find your purpose in life as well, it all made so much sense once I started to decipher what each placements, lordships and aspects mean, it made me understand that even the hardships I went through were meant to push me in the right direction. I wholeheartedly hope you find your way and in a few years you can look back and feel thankful you didn't give up, that you believed in yourself and kept fighting even when people around you did not. I believe we chose this life we're living before reincarnating in our current body, a few days ago I heard something that got me thinking, I think it was one of Rick Levine's classes if I recall correctly, Samsara is like a video game, if life is hard it's because you're moving up through the levels, if your soul picked a level this hard is because it's learning and expanding. My mars is in the 12th, combusted. In tropical it's Taurus, in Sidreal it's in Bharani. It's extremely hard for me to get angry, even when conflict burst out in massive ways (especially in public). If it were a painting, I would be the one person standing in a middle of a war somehow untouched or bothered. I'm writing this as you speak so I share wo/ what you say influence me. My experience with martial things: anytime ppl try to physically harm me, I somehow get away or they don't get to commit an act. I guess my mars in the 12th house has freed me from conflict despite it being a bad mars, just bc I play out the 12h in the most material ways (avoiding, detaching, disinterest, treating someone like they're not in my life, not blinking an eye on them). A general (mars) doesn't need to direct a war if a war doesn't exist for them (12h). Also, I always find out late that people were defending me (by word) wo/ my knowing quite a bit. People also come and tell me what others are doing behind my back, wo/ me trying to find out. In terms of ambition and acting on it- my father explains that once I put my mind onto something, it's hard to stop me and I achieve a lot (which is objectively true). However, my motivation comes in waves. Edit: The one thing that will get me going, maybe even scheming, is injustice. It sparks something greater than fire in me. I just can't.

Your descriptions of planets in the houses are perhaps the best I've seen on the internet! This hit home as in my own chart my Mars in 1st in Leo in tropical and in "sidereel" it's in my 12th in cancer debilitated. One thing that used to confuse me about reading charts is that some of the emotional characteristics that get (somewhat simplistically) associated with Mars, like the presence or lack of anger, passive aggressiveness, confronting people, can just as much originate from other parts of ones chart. Someone can be a Mars in 1st house and have that independent, ambitious streak you mentioned in your previous video, but also have a Moon conjunct Rahu in Scorpio and have violent mood swings for example, but that's not the same as the wishy washy bi-polar-ness of a Mars in 12th house as you describe. Each person truly is a unique recipe of astrological influences.

I just subscribed to your channel and I freaking loved everything you said!! In Tropical astrology, I have Mars in 10 degrees in the 12th house, and it's in the sign of Aries! I appreciate your positive and respectful interpretation of your analysis. I seen different content creators say some pretty absurd things about Mars in the 12th house along with other planets in different houses....another thing, yes I have libra in the 6th House and Mercury is there so I'm very careful how I talk to people..especially whenever this get on my nerves.

I have a question. How does progressed astrology tie in with this. I’m born with Mars in the 12th house but when I was 11 years old it progressed into the 1st house. When I look back that’s when I came out of my shell a lot more & started to take a lot more risks. I am born with Mars in cancer, I have 3 children with the fatherless Mars in the 8th house, now progressed in the 9th house. He lives 100 miles away from me & my children. He says I have undiagnosed bi-polor.. I know everything is astrology at its roots

@@staciejean Yeah, I'm still not sure how to apply the knowledge in his videos, it's the reason why I don't really watch very consistently. I'm missing the basics of his approach to both systems, how he combines them. I learn a lot from his general insights about planets and houses and such, get many "a-ha!" moments because he explains what they're all about so clearly, but when it comes to charts and practical application I don't know how I should combine both systems the way he does. Maybe he explained his method in an early video? I really don't know. The channel's 'about me' section says this: "Astrology by Vic DiCara - the amazing principles of classical Indian astrology, through modern eyes, and with a marriage of tropical signs and sidereal nakshatra".
