If I hadn't known this was filmed in Carmel, Indiana, I genuinely would think it was somewhere in Europe, or at the very least, New England. The architecture really looks beautiful!

Enjoyed the video. This area looks pretty nice. The lack of wind noise is pretty impressive

The workman sure were stunned by you riding by on the Urban Arrow. And, I had to research the prices of the condos. Not sure I was looking at the correct ones, but I was pretty surprised by the prices. I had always been told that housing in Indiana was pretty cheap relative to the West Coast.

Carmel is expensive.

If you are right on the Monon, it will be much more expensive. You can get single family homes starting in the mid $300Ks and up. As with anywhere, the location in Carmel plays a huge factor. Compared to where I live (Phoenix), you get a lot of house for the $ in Carmel, IN.

@@BikeLaveen it’s probably aafe to say that buying a house just about anywhere on the west coast is a lot more expensive than the mid-west.

So long to wait... Not a complaint - just looking forward to Epi 3. Ottawa mayoral candidate who promised 25 years of bike infrastructure in 4 years is currently leading in the polls. Fingers crossed. Since I can't afford an Urban Arrow I've attached a basket to the rear rack of my wife's 20 year old "The designer once saw a Dutch bike in passing" Dutch bike inspired bike and have had a couple of short trips that would have otherwise been a drive.

I gave up trying to use the GoPro battery and started using an external battery pack similar to yours. The GoPro would overheat much easier with the battery in it. With the external battery pack, I can take the battery out and leave the door off for more air circulation. Even with our "cool" 90 degree temperatures now, the GoPro will overheat if you stop to take a break due to a lack of air movement around the camera. 10:19 That was hilarious watching the construction workers trying to figure out your setup as you rode by. I'm sure those new row homes are expensive. The ones along the boulevard are extremely pricey. If you go about a block or two away from the Monon, you can get a newer 3 story row home for around $450-$500K. I'd rather walk a block or two and save the money.

Thanks for the presentation of your equipment, very interesting setup. I would be interested in your audio settings in the Rode Wireless-Go II and in the GoPro, I work with the same equipment, but I think your sound is better. Best regards from Germany, Klaus.

Thank you for watching. Honestly, I don't mess with the setting. If my audio needs to come up, I turn it up during editing.

I saw some bike share bikes in the background at the end of the video. Have you ever used them? What do you think of the quality of the system?
@AmericanFietser2 жыл бұрын
I personally haven't used them as I've no need, but I can say they are heavily used by people here. I'm always riding by people who have rented them.

safe bet those construction workers don’t live in that area and they talked about “pfft, only in Carmel, smh” for at least the next 20 minutes 😆

Despite the otherwise amazing sound quality, I do notice a weird "popping" sound when you speak. You might want to look into what could be causing that.

The new development look nice, but quite sterile. Hopefully the place will be more lively when people live there.
@thomasprovitt18062 жыл бұрын
Does anyone actually live here? Those construction workers and the runner at the end feel like the only people i've seen in this series.
