Ches, regarding the youth academy objective: Try to scout a talented goalkeeper and train him up to about 80, since GK don't need stats all around the board. Just GK stats matter. So over-training them doesn't really matter. I think this is the easiest way to complete the objective, let alone that it's the most realistic option since Cech is aging already. You will obviously use Cech as your first team GK for the first season, and use the scouted GK in the second season (for at least 50%) alongside Cech. After the 2nd season Cech is dropping stat like rain probably, and the scouted GK can take over more and more.

As this is going to be a long term career series, developing along at least 3 years, I think it would make sense to sell the high level players that won't see much 1st team action and buy younger players that will become stronger in 2 years time or less. i.e. just keep one strong reserve player at most for every role and sell the others, and for every role buy a second level bench player who's relatively cheap to sign and to pay every week, and who'll become 1st team material from the 2nd season on. So, since over the course of the past months I tested some of the players recommended in various lists on the net in my personal career mode playthroughs, I think I can safely say that these particular young and cheaper players proved worth signing for me in (1) defence, (2) midfield, (3) winger/side midfield and (4) attacking roles: (1) Solid = CBs: Jairo Ridewald and Jonathan Tah; RBs/LBs: Tin Jedvaj and Alejandro Grimaldo Garcia. Longer time period prospects = CBs: Reece Oxford and Rivaldo Coetzee; RBs/LBs: Felix Passlack and Aitor Bunuel Redrado. (2) Solid = CMs/CDMs: Youri Tirlmans and Vincent Koziello. Longer time period prospects = CMs/CDMs: Timothy Fosu Mensah and Lucas Tousart. (3) Solid = RMs/RWs/LMs/LWs: Kylian Mbappe Lottin and Thomas Lemar. Longer time period prospects = RMs/RWs/LMs/LWs: Dorin Rotariu and Vaclav Cerny. (4) Solid = Playmaker Viktor Kovalenko, Striker Angel Correa. Longer time period prospects = Playmaker Marcus Edwards, Striker Emre Mor. Some of these are mentioned everywhere, some others ar not. I hope this list will be helpful for you. For that medium youth development I've got an idea Hire a scout(as high as you can get) and send him to England for 3 months ONLY looking for goalkeepers, This way you get yourself a new backup goal keeper that you can use in your rotation squad which will allow you to offload either/both szcesney and Ospina whilst also keeping to the clubs 'philosophy' of young homegrown talent. I really like this idea let's hope Ches sees it :)
