Couple things that make things tough to enjoy... 1) FUT Champs... atleast half my games are against full icon teams or teams with toty Ronaldo who is unstoppable 2) I cant tell you how many games I've played where I go in for a perfect tackle and the ball magically deflects directly to my opponent and it happens 3-4x in a row during the same attack. 3) clearly aiming my joystick in one direction for a pass or shot and it goes the opposite direction and throws off my attack (I've watched miss shots after games and the trainer shows my aim no where near where the ball.goes) 4) score excellent goals with quality build up to give up some bullshit goal directly off of.the kickoff 5) defenders who have no pace catching up to my winger who has 95+ pace 6) multiple games where my goalie literally punches lower than the ball on a cross, and his guy heads over top of his hands for a tap in goal. 7) No skills.moves do anything against the AI 8) hitting square to clear the ball in the box and my player slides and takes out his player and he gets a PK

The simple fact that you play 2 games of fifa & you get 1200 coins... 1 squad fitness which is needed after 2 matches cost 14-1500 coins.. you’re losing 2-300 of YOUR coins by playing the game.. makes no sense!!!

i miss the bronze, silver and gold tournaments. Ai started to become a problem when they took off legacy defending. When it was legacy defending the emphasis was in attacking and breaking down your oponents.

Two sundays ago I jumped into ultimate team. And set up to get silver 1. I ended up uninstalling fifa 19. It is frustrating to deal with this game for this reason: I got in the box, inception, every single time i had the ball. I swear. I'm not kidding you. I lost 1-0. There is no point in having to rebeat my opponent 20 times for me to be able to score just one goal. Why does EA insists in keeping people in games. Why do I have to be in a game where I face gorilla. And the guy just toys with me and I just hang in there b/c the game just keeps me in the game. I come from the old school of fighting games, like killer instinct, mortal kombat, and street fighter. I am like you inception I have to play and feel that my successes are entirely under my control. I like to feel a learning curve , where I can progressively get better. I hope they listened to you bro. I am sadened.

I had a solid 2 million team with IF pogba, kante, IF sandro to name a few. After losing games I shouldn’t have due to inconsistent gameplay, i sold my whole team and bought Ronaldo. I play him up top with flashback ibra and decided to RTG with those two. I realized that no striker is better than CR7. He is my only “meta” player and it shows. Goal machine to say the least. Moral of the story : CR7 > 2 million team (which shouldn’t be the case)

Let’s start a petition but will need you or a famous youtuber to start it to gather traction. I guarantee so many people will sign it. They need to invest in servers. Read a great reddit post explaining the reason for button delay and it’s the servers EA use for fifa. For battlefield they use Amazons (Netflix, Microsoft and other big companies use Amazons servers) and he showed no lag. It was all analytical (things I don’t understand) but main point EA needs to use Amazons servers.

A simple way to make Fifa fun again, especially FUT Champs is to add criteria, like how the weekly tournaments used to be. Let FUT CHAMPS run one weekend with Serie A Teams only, or cap the rating....silver players only..make it creative and innovative..as I said...like how it used to be to qualify...sad thing is we know this will never happen.

I have been critical of some of your videos in the past, but I completely agree with you here. When you said that you felt the energy draining from your body, it definitely hit home with me. I feel drained when I go into the game now, and can only ever play 2 or 3 matches before I feel completely fatigued. I don't enjoy any of the game modes. I just wanted to explain something from a different perspective in terms of spending money on this game. I've spent far too much money on this game so I'm definitely part of the problem. Every time Ive spent money on this game, I hate that I have and I know that I shouldn't. But I have realised that I'm battling a gambling addiction. I may not be hanging out in Casinos or at the bookies, but I have a gambling problem with buying packs in FIFA. I've stopped now and I'm trying to deal with my addiction, but I just wanted to highlight, that beyond all the issues in this game, there is one other issue that is not spoken about enough. My dad had a gambling addiction when I was young and spent countless hours in the Casino. I went with him on a few occasions when I was a little older, and I can honestly say that, what I saw in my dad when he was in the Casino, is exactly what I see in myself opening packs. EA are running an online casino which has no age restriction, and is highly addictive if you have any addictive tendencies. I know that I shouldn't, I know that I can't afford to, I know that its a complete waste of money, but something inside me still made me buy packs. This is the single biggest issue with this game. EA feeds peoples gambling tendencies, they spend vast amounts of money on the game with EA repeating this cycle over and over. SBCs, Promo, Packs, SBCs, Promo, Packs. Its a constant cycle whereby they are targeting us. In turn, the actual gameplay component has actually become a secondary part of the process. EA is far more interested in getting people to buy packs and rinse all their coins in SBCs. They do the bare minimum in terms of gameplay. I understand that people who don't spend money on this game, blame people who do spend money on this game for feeding the problem, and strangely enough, I hate that people spend money on this game too, but I have done it and its a genuine problem with addiction. It surprises me that there has never been a class action lawsuit against EA for the fact that they effectively prey on children with business practices that resemble a Vegas Casino. Everything from pack openings to flashy new cards are no different from slot machines that flash and make noises in a Casino. It wouldn't surprise me if EAs legal division has a significant amount of specialisation in the gambling industry. They are just a Casino without needing a gambling license. You are outspoken about the game and not complicit like the game changers in constantly covering for EA. It would be good if you could one day cover the topic of pack / fifa point addiction, because I'm not the only one that has had this problem. It's too easy for us to just all say don't buy FIFA points. You can tell a drug addict to stop taking drugs, but if they have a problem with addiction, its not just a simple process of stopping. I completely agree with your idea of content for players. I play seasons since fifa 11. This year I have FUT a chance but due too obvious reasons I stopped (money making win, skill level none existent etc ) I play season by picking constant random teams in each league to try different players, different tactics and different experiences each game. I think if FUT encouraged you too play with leagues or players of a certain league somehow it would be much more fun , cause bronze silver players and most non main leagues are just throw aways or used for sbcs etc If you where rewarded for playing with bronze teams sliver teams , playing in a variety of different leagues , and their special players for that specific league etc Game defiantly needs to change , completely agree with you, games been the same since 17 , needs to change

I used the gold David Luiz for about 200 games in October and I loved him and was hoping to see the Flashback. I spent 3 days waiting for the market to go down so I could afford him. I basically just gave up a bunch of collectable rare cards junky untradeable cards that I will never use like futswap Cornet and Lasagna. Futmas Arias and Doumbia Flash Cech, Howard and Sturridge which was hard for me to do because of the cost but when I looked at the loan card that I used 10 games I scored 14 goals and 4 assists, then I looked at the SBC card and I had 39 games 27 goals and 8 assists, the card just wasnt the same as the loan. Bottom line I completed the David Luiz right before the deadline, actually had the best pack pull all year with 91 gold Modric. 24 hours later I have yet to play one single game with Luiz yet. Div Rivals is just so boring I dread it

When I hop on I either play, Rivals (Div 5), Online Friendly Seasons with my buddies, Squad Battles (Legendary), Drafts, SCBs , Skill games. I really do enjoy the game. I only play for an hour or two a day. Had I played this game for 1000s of hours, I would also be board out of my mind. What else would you expect of a video game?

If I was just to compare my thoughts, in previous fifas I was a div 1 player but now I can barely make it to div 4 because I refuse to abuse the game mechanics, I don’t have fun playing rivals(the only online mode) and so sbc’s don’t seem as interesting, my friends all stopped playing so I can’t play online friendlies and I find playing the ai boring even in career mode. I still like drafts and skill games but even when I’m playing skill games I can’t score unless it’s with Ronaldo or I do time finishing

I fully agree with your point. When I go on CoD or Fortnite i’m playing against a mix of less skilled players and good players. Whereas when I come on fifa to play divisions every game is against a top level player (div 1). I think the usual divisions mode should be a mix of ability not full on elite level sweat (that’s what fut champs should be for). When I come on fifa I should dominate most opponents and come up against top players every now and then.

I agree with you man, the game is not fun to play anymore. When I am off I like to play the game but everyone has the same team. I used to play PES in 2006, there was a master league mode, you could develop your player, then trade them, negotiate, etc, anyway, the MAIN issue I am having now is, when I play a game, I feel like the AI is either on my side or on my opponent's side, everytime, I score soo many BS goals I wish there was a way to truly apologize, it is insane. I believe there is a conflict of interest between making a good video game and the money they will make.

FIFA not only about ultimate team. You can play season head to head with different team as you like. Furthermore, in online season mode, the player stat is fix and no boost by chemistry. I think that is more logical. However, from y experience, i hate to believe EA care more of their ultimate team server rather than other online server.

I get to rank 2 in d1 and sit in the menu having no idea what to do. There's no point in playing more divisions because rank 1 ain't worth it. It’s a fucking disgrace of a game. The servers/inconsistent gameplay is fucking unbelievable. I have one game last night on Rivals at 10pm, the gameplay is smooth, I win 4-1. I play half an ago at 6pm, it’s fucking UNPLAYABLE. Feels like all my players are Ice skates, the player switching is fucked, it doesn’t work, my players can’t turn, they’re like Gemma Collins on Ice skates. Fuck off EA. I’m done.

I even prefer playing drop-ins on Pro Clubs over FUT nowadays. Much more rewarding (your players abilities improve over time etc.) and you have that IRL FIFA feeling that you get from a FUCKING TEAM GAME that football is supposed to be. I quit FUT completely after realizing that my hole friday night was ruined by getting a loss after 4 hours of non-enjoyable grinding. There's no room for the casual player in FUT - nothing to do. If you don't tryhard you'll get stomped over by those who have.

What i hate the most is: 1. everyone plays the same way, 4-2-3-1, stay back on LB, RB, 2 CDM, Stay forward on 3 CAM and ST, i personally use 2 ST in a 4-1-2-1-2 which i have used for years on past Fifa but feels like because these youtubers make "best formation" videos everyone copies thinking its the best way to play, it's boring, (i bet 90% of ppl which will read this use that formation) 2. i play in a hard fought game, i put together a great move to score a well earned goal then the other player kicks off and scores a kick off goal..WTF is that about 3. scripting needs to stop, whoever is better at the game should win, not Fifa giving the other player a chance to win or help at different times in the game 4. FUT needs another game mode, like "weekly tournaments" on past Fifa's, don't need to earn much just a few thousand coins, have different squad requirements each week to use different players, whats the point in having all these leagues and bronze and silver players...just for pointless SBC's? 5. Fifa Ultimate Team needs to bring in a few guys from Madden Ultimate Team and take note, if you have played madden UT you will know what i mean!

Not quite, I think fifa points are fine. If you’re willing to drop $5000 a year to make your ultimate team you should be able too. The imbalance in fifa is that opening bronze packs, investing, or sniping nonrares should give the same value as actually playing matches. A top 100 player and top 100 trader should make almost the same amount of coins. The average trader should make a similar amount of coins. This is the biggest economic problem with this year’s game.

i would argue that in this moment squad battles is the only playable game mode. because u can set the difficulty of AI and play with different players. Anyway, i dont play this shit anymore and i won't come back for fifa 20 if the game isn't fixed
