Anyone have issues with pull backs. Say you are wide and want to play a pass back to a player on the pens spot or D. It tends to play it to the player nearer to the goal, or straight to the keeper. Also very hard to score headers.

Did you know that you can make teammates run either straight to goal or diagonally? You can change their trajectory manually. It is a nice little trick that can’t be found anywhere in the manual. Fifa always left out the best parts, that made me the 2nd best player in the world on Xbox for two years straight. Behind Jevrej. This was ages ago but I still see that the best players of today aren’t the ones with the most skills or the ones with the best passing game, etc. It’s the players who exploit the faults in the frostbite engine best.

What about the L1+X pass? Used to be very useful in older fifas and I still use it a lot to build up my attack very quick. Problem is, it opens up a huge gap on your player's natural position. Is it still useful ?

Great video. So basically what your saying is that we should only use the L2 pass right? Don't want to jump to conclusions but FIFA is in the end about pissing your opponent of and acting like your a pro player (the latter you are quite good at).

Hey bro, thanks for tutorial, I had tried these techniques and have a problem even if I am facing my own player, passes always seem to travel slow with no power and my opponent always intercept. Its frustrating. The ball travels at a snail pace yet the opponent is running at a lightening pace the moment it reaches my other player, i do not have enough time to pass or my lane is already blocked where there was an opportunity. How can I resolve this. Plz help

Are you just tapping x? Tbis all depends where you are. Short distance tap x, medium distance hold x for a second as a pass, long distance R1 + x to pass it. It heavily matters if your body is facing the direction where you want it to go

Hello Boras, your videos are great and I learn a lot, but I'm having some problems with the passing. Somehow, when I aim at who I want to recieve the pass, my player pass it to someone else, sometimes even close to a 180º to where I'm aiming at (which is the same direction that my player with the ball is facing at). I then go to replay and I look where the pass was being aimed at and everything was fine, but the game decided last moment to select a complete different player to pass to. I also find that the movements the AI does without the ball are moronic. If I'm controlling the ball with one player and already keeping an eye to which I'm going to pass to (whom which I have a good angle and he has no defender close to him) during the time that I need to recieve the ball, control it and pass it, the AI already moved that player with good positioning to a position with no angle and close to an opposing defender. I go to replay again to check what the AI did and see that he decided to move right near a defender by itself. I've tried all the tactics I can imagine and those that everyone talks about on youtube, but nothing works, they keep moving without the ball like complete morons, or passing the ball to a different player that I'm aiming to. So sadly the only way to win is to take advantage of the exploits of the game... counterattacks with the wings to baseline and pass back and stuff like this. But if I try to play a possession game, somewhat realistically, then passing the ball is a nightmare. And every video I see talking about passing and attacking, despite everyone is talking about composure and patience, all I see are counterattacks and fast build up plays. Your video so far is the best I've seen and I'm gonna try that "early pass lock" option. Thanks a lot.
