For the people thinking Mexico's screwed in Group A, think again. Mexico's statistics vs South Africa + Uruguay are in favor of Mexico. Against France it goes to them. Although South Africa's height will affect France + Uruguay since they're not used to that elevation where as to Mexico they know how it feels like, similar to El Azteca. Nothings for sure still, im just saying don't get ahead of yourselves anything can happen.

i think the only reason to have Group G as the Group of Death is how we know certain players in that team..for example CR for Portugal & Didier Drogba for Ivory Coast..not as a team..Group B, D or E should be the Group of Death

England will win the Group C U.S.A will be the Runners up in Group C. i think England will be in the Seml Finals. may be the world cup final. But the team to look out for is Brazil , Lvory Coast and Spain.

Don't count out the USA. We might have some surprises for the mother country. But even with that in mind,that's a good match. Not like South Africa having to deal with France,and Portugual and Brazil having to eventually go up against each other. Same for Australia and Germany.

I think all groups are very competitive, the only exception is the group H I bet the group would be Brazil, North Korea, Ivory Coast and France. I think Portugal is in the same level at the time, then fine. Difficult, but think Brazil will go through the next round

i agree with u its either Group B or Group G in B any 2 of the 4 can go through and the Greeks have a stronger team now than in 94 so nobody should count them out along with Korea and Nigeria is not the team they were in the 90s so I feel that Group B is the true group of death

Only really France and Portugal were really feared in pot 4 in 2010. This time around there's France, Portugal, Italy, Netherlands, and even England to an extent. Plus Bosnia, Greece, Russia, and Croatia don't look nearly as weak as the Slovenia, Slovakia, Serbia, and Denmark of 4 years ago. This draw is a different animal, but I'm excited. Let's do this.

why do people keep saying G is the group of death i mean its no doubt that they have the best national teams brazil, portugal, ivory coast are all in the top ten favorites to win the world cup but we know that north korea is pretty much out and does anybody actually think brazil is gonna get knocked out in the first starge? a group of death should be where any of the 4 teams could pass through but here its just between ivory coast and portugal

Of ther seeded teams, Brazil and Germany have the toughest groups, apart from the hosts of course. Italy and Spain have the easiest. England, Argentina, and Holland should win theirs, but one of them might slip up, if not two.

Hardly, the USA has a great chance of making it through. Group C got two fairly weak teams in addition to England and the USA and so it's probable (but not certain) that both will make it past the group stages, so long as neither get cocky. Unfortunately, whoever comes second is likely going to be up against Germany after that. The Group of Death is Group G, as Brazil are one of the faves, Portugal could be a massive threat and the Ivory Coast is the strongest African team.

Lets be real. FIFA ranking speaks nothing. No, im not jsut pulling this out of nowhere. USA had 1 match btw march and april, whcih was 2:1 lost to the Nederlands. Serbia also had 1 match but result was 3:0 win against Japan. But FIFA rank released yesterday shows US jumped 2 ranks to surpass Serbia and Chile. Now, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out that fking doesnt make sense. Israel is ranked 24th. Israel havent played a SINGLE A match game since october of 2009. FIFA rank = bs.

how annoying is charlize theron. shut up! the group of death is G of course. portugal should go through but here's the problem...portugal still has no world class striker, brazil and ivory coast do. as does spain. if portugal makes it out of the group stages, they'll probably meet spain. although they wiped the floor clean with spain in euro 2004, this time it will be more difficult. it's a fantastic group for fans of football. can't wait.

I'm not glad. I REALLY did not want to play England. England could win the whole thing. I think the reason so many other USA fans are glad though is because this is our chance to finally shut UK fans up for good. For the last several years, I've seen our country, our fans, our soccer team, and our culture get SHIT on constantly by UK fans. We got nothing to lose. I love how the Brit's are thinking this is gonna be a walk in the park for them against the USA, they better keep dreaming, USA has one advantage ENG does not, and that's they have a GK, and England on the other hand does not have a great GK And on top of that Tim Howard PLAYS in the EPL just like most if not all of the players for ENG, so I am sure Tim Howard is well aware of ENG players tendencies, especially hot headed Wayne Rooney. the USA may have problems everywhere but not at goalie.

how weak of mexico i was watching the televisa feed and when they called out france they shit themselves. mexico doesnt play well against physically stronger and taller teams. look at the mexico squad skillful players but skinny and short players up front.
