Here's a tutorial on how to get yourself to the next level in FIFA 23. We discuss one of the best formations in the game for fun, domination and loads of attacking play - the 4-2-2-2
These are the best custom tactics and instructions to set this meta Formation up and win more games in division rivals and FUT Champs, scoring plenty of goals along the way.

I don't usually comment on KZbin. But I have to thank you. This is the best attacking tactic I have ever tried.. I am destroying my opponents easily. It's pure chaos.. It can be sometimes a bit risky though, specially when defending but if you are good at defending 1v1 you should be fine.. Plus if your opponent scores 1 or 2 goals you score 5 or 6.. Thank you..

Sure! Set the fullbacks to "stay back" and drop the depth. Won't be as free flowing in attack but will be safer defensively 👍

What do you think about taking the full backs off attacking? I haven’t tried it yet but worried about them being overly attacking and caught on counters 😂

Honestly mate on next gen they don't leave as many gaps as last year. The drop between CDM creates a back 3 and its basically just a case of holding the opponent up for a moment until your defence resets. Try it in rivals for a few games and have a tinker to your preference 👍 the attacking overload is great if you can manage defensively

If you have full chemistry but in game you change the position of the players, like you did in this video (which would have resulted in much less chemistry if you started with it), would it count as the first or the latter? (in game)

Whatever chemistry you enter the game it stays that way, you could literally put a striker at CB if you like - it won't affect it. This is why we set up tactics in the "custom" slot so we can quickly change to it at kickoff without penalty 👍

Depends what players you have. Fullbacks main priority is to be fast and strong so anchor is always a good one.

I like to play quite aggressive so I would try 60 and go from there, drop it back to your preference. Other users have used super high 75 on old gen and enjoyed it, so it's all down to your playstyle buddy 🙂

Yes bro plenty coming out in the next few days. Work rates have a lot to do with gow well your midfielders defend, ideally you want them to have a high defensive work rate. Got a few more reserved formations coming up though which should help defensively 👍

My friend, the reason we put this into a custom tactics slot is so that when the game kicks off we can change to it without chemistry penalty. For example, you can see my team starts the game in 442 with maximum chemistry. Then at kick off I change to the "attacking" custom tactic which initiates this 4222 set up. You cN move your players anywhere then 🙂 hope this helps!

Yes I understand, that's what the "drop between defenders" midfielder is for. Absolutely, I purposely don't use expensive teams as then I can tell if the tactics will work for everyone or not 🙂 enjoy!
