India fell to yet another heartbreaking defeat to Bahrain in an international friendly on March 23. Mohqmed Hardan and Mahdi Humaidan scored for the hosts on either side of the break, while the latter also had a penalty saved by Gurpreet Singh. Rahul Bheke's header from debutant Naorem Roshan's cross pulled India level at one stage, but it was not to be!

Bahrain were a few notches above India both physically and technically. India must come out of defensive mindset. Pronoy Halder was persisted with for long. Whenever India had possession, they were immediately tackled..Which we failed to see when Bahrain were in possession. It's time Pritam Mondal ought to hung up his boots. Subhsish too failed. Where was Asish Mishra and Ashique? We have far better players in the reserve who must get a look in .

India Footballers play a low IQ game. Lobbing the ball upfield hopefully is going to loose the ball possession 80% of the time. No control and no midfield play. No sideways midfield movement to create space, just vertical passes. One dimensional players who can do just one thing well, but poor at the other essential 5 needed at intl level. Couldnt get more an 2-3 passes accurately among themselves 90% of time. Too many unenforced errors. Losing to a country with 5% of your population is absolutely shameful India. Stop looking at comparative rankings unless you take into account size/population. Stop getting these European coaches who teach them to lob the ball upfield, instead of accurate passing and possession control, which will create chances. Barely had ball control 20% of the game.
