Bangladesh were playing in traditional 4-4-2 formation. To break this wall of 4 defenders and 4 midfielders. We need some short passing and creative midfielders. Quick wingers. To break their block of 4-4-2. And create space for Sunil to shoot it home. India should have patience. To deal with stingy defence like Bangladesh. Particularly in this game. Just when Indians couldn't find spaces in the half of opposition. They tried exactly what Qatar did against India. Long ranger shots and Long passing. They have to keep their patience levels very high. Keep short passing and play one touch football, attack from wings and create space. That's it. With all respect for Team Bangladesh. They have played really well and keep our attackers at the Bay.. but with all respect for them I'm saying that Bangladesh is not The Belgium. India could certainly beat them if they had kept their shape and strategy correct. I think India should try. ATK's 3-5-2 formation. The Defensive errors are costing us Games. Attacking in 3-5-2 and Defending in 5-3-2. Will definitely make us defensively strong. Like how we have defended with 5 at the back Against Qatar. Wingers like Prabir Das, Seriton, Soosairaj, Nanda Kumar, and so on. They are good on the wings and providing decent crosses which will stretch the defence of the opposition and that will create spaces for someone like Sunil Chhetri, Jeje. To give us an important lead. 4-2-3-1 is not working Quite well with India so try 3-5-2. I am nothing against the great Igor Stimac but I am just giving suggestions according to my footballing knowledge. I know all the managers are having their own philosophy and Formations. But I think 3-5-2 is the correct solution for our team. And there is nothing wrong to try that formation. Because still we are in the mode of transformation. So we must try. Set our team in one formation like 3-5-2. And after that keep practicing about other formations as well so that we can change our formations and style of play according to our opposition.
