FIFA’s New Rule Would Change Football

FIFA are testing a new way for officials to watch back plays that would replace the current VAR system. Instead of continuously checking incidents throughout the match, coaches would appeal decisions throughout the match. I think it would he sick but lmk your thoughts.
In other news, FC Barcelona are said to be after a winger with Nico Williams and Leao being names while Real Madrid are in afvanced negotiations to bring in both Trent Alexander Arnold and Alphonso Davies!

"removing the referee's ability to go back and view the footage" is the crimson red flag. There should be no compromise of removing one in favor of the other. Nor should that be limited in a match, nor definitely throughout a season. People can cry all day about stuff taking too long, but at the end of the day it's fine over dismissing a game changing event.

Right now VAR is being called through an off the pitch team, making it an outside hindrance. What FIFA is doing right now is, putting a Stop to that outside hindrance.

they should just copy the review system in cricket where if your review is successful you get to keep it for the rest of the match, but if its unsuccessful they lose it, it will make teams use it only when it's necessary.

This system can save time, but it can result in more controversies. What if there is a genuine penalty in the last minute of the game and the scores are level, if the referee doesn't spot it and the team doesn't have any review left then fans will be outrageous. Of course chances are low of these events happening but these can happen afterall.

This rule will only be when a referee makes a decision e.g. goal was disallowed so the team who had scored can review to see if the goal was actually offside so the review can't be used in open play

What happened in the games yamal didn't Play? Barca Had no creation. Raph and yamal are both rw while raph is more direct compared to yamal who can driblle better. So if on doesn't Play, we already loose a lot.
