Pareil pour moi, j'ai regardé cette vidéo jusqu'à la fin et c'est fou les joueurs de talent qu'il y avait à l'époque. C'était la même chose lors de l'Euro 2000, il y avait vraiment de bons joueurs et le niveau de la compétition était élevé cette année-là.

My first World Cup was watched as a seven-year-old. I remember that... in the final I didn't support anyone because my aunt lived in France and I didn't like her. And I didn't like the Brazil shirts. 26 years old and I still don't support France or Brazil.

Crazy how an upset win for Norway against eventual runners-up Brazil in the group stage got Morocco eliminated. Who knows, maybe they'd have gotten their semi-finals appearance earlier...

If that world cup had a better final I have no doubt that it would had easily been considered the best at the time along with 1982 and 1970. A world cup with many fascinating matches, a lot of goals, many great teams (not a single big abscence), many great footballers (perhaps the largest amount ever along with 2006) and lastly a flawless tournament in terms of organization from the French with beautiful and crowded stadiums in almost every game

I was at the Romania v Croatia game! Le Stad Lescure in Bordeaux. We were supposed to have seen England there except that we managed to finish only second in our group which meant we had to play the evening game in St Etienne v Argentina & we didn't have tickets for that! What a classic game we missed!

hmmmm i started watching football from this moment. Still remember first match Brazil- Scotland and a free kick when R.Carlos shoot sooo strong that enemy player get from the ball into head and went down... Also Fifa '98 was amazing. I was playing in it few goood years. BTW any other Fifa had an inside stadium??

I've been watching Euros and World Cups since 2002. But fans say that WC-98 was the best tournament... It's a pity that I wasn't able to witness it... For me, the best is WC-2010. And I like Mundial-02 because of my "debut" as a soccer spectator. And very popular fact: after the match Argentina-Jamaica a musical band "Chaif" wrote the song called "Argentina-Jamaica 5-0".

Watched this world cup during my last year in secondary school, a tournament filled with killer teams and players, Croatia, Argentina, England, Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, Nigeria, Brazil, Italy and France, even Paraguay and Chile was dangerous what a stacked era.
