Surely resisted wrist flexion pain indicates medial epicondylitis rather than lateral, and the opposite for extension?

I hit my ulnar nerve on the edge of wood table with extreme force - it’s been a month and my finger still feel a little stiff in the morning and extended bending of my elbow while playin guitar aggravates it more - I’ve seen a doctor who performed tests and he said it could take one to 2 months to recover - but he was confident I’d be fine - my question is: is it normal to still feel these pain symptoms after a month ?

Your best bet would be having an EMG/NCS done if it still hurts 2-3 months after the injury to make sure that the nerve is okay.
