Scottish football has had many shocking managers but one manager was so bad he nearly killed a club. That man was the Claude "The Fraud" Anelka whose stint at Raith can be considered one of the worst of all time so let's take a look at what on earth happened at Starks Park.

As a Raith fan, truly the dark days of the club which do this day brings a shudder of dread for those who were there like I was. Maybe for a future video you should do an alternate history video of Scottish football scenarios such as what if Celtic didn’t win the European cup in 1967, what if the New Firm remain powerful, what if Raith had somehow beaten Bayern and the many moments of the Scottish national team that could have seen them do stuff...worth a shot IMO.

Falkirk's worst manager? It's a toss up between Gary Holt and Paul Hartley. Both did untold damage to Falkirk, and similarly to Anelka at Raith, set us back years. It's hard not to feel incredibly bitter towards these people, as I'm sure many Raith supporters probably do towards Anelka.

Did Hartley get you relegated or was it Ray McKinnon?

@callumblyth3741 it was technically McKinnon, but Hartley left the club 4 games into that season, after signing 15 (crap) players. You don't tend to hear fans saying anything negative about McKinnon as all the ire is directed at Hartley. He's persona-non-grata at Falkirk haha.

@callumblyth3741 Morton fans still hate Falkirk, because we pinched McKinnon when Hartley left. McKinnon had more or less signed an entire new squad and then left Morton 4 games into the season.

Read a thing years ago, think it was in FourFourTwo that had the worst 10 managers of all time. Le Clod was at number 7, think Graeme Souness at number 1. I dispute that, as bad as Souness was, he won more league titles in his career than Anelka won games. Glenn Roeder was in there somewhere, none of the other 7 I knew of
