You can play music from your pc. 1. Will need 3.5mm cable 2. Ground loop isolator. Plug the 3.5 mm into the back of your pc audio line out jack and plug the other end in ground loop isolator and then into line in Jack on mixer. Setup your program supplying music to send audio to line out on pc. You can do this same process for discord if your looking to have a specific fader or mute control. You may not need the ground loop isolator try without first if you get humming or hissing in the background put the gli in.

Thank you for the tip! I did notice a little bit of hissing after exporting the clips, wasn’t sure what was causing it. Will have to try this in the future.

Going through both XLR and USB-C, there is very little difference. You can pick up more sound which can be a bad thing if you're not in a quiet room with the XLR/mixer used. Think the mic is okay, and you should use the extra money, instead of the bundle, to go with a mic stand / pop-filter rather than using the build in stand. This way every key press / mouse movement doesn't rattle your mic from your desk.

Thoughts on the AM8 vs the K688? I can only find men comparing them, no women 🥲

Both have different sound profiles. The K688 is more balanced but is more muffled than the AM8. Personally I like the K688 because of how low my speaking voice is but if you have a higher pitched voice, the AM8 sounds brighter.
