Hi! Yes, sometimes you will have to face the mic directly to your face to make the voice sound better. But most of the time, even if it is facing a slightly different direction, it should still work. I hope that answers your question!

I got this last December 2022, they definitely changed the packaging (which is a good thing!). The voice quality is great, I love that it can stand on my desk too without absorbing the vibration from typing to my keyboard or whenever I move my mouse. However, I do agree regarding the bg sounds being absorbed by the mic, my room is small and my air conditioning unit produces quite some noise which gets reflected whenever I talk (even with noise suppression, noise gate, and even a compressor filter). In the same price range of Fifine A8 or a tiny bit more, can you recommend a really good noise cancelling microphone that dampens background noises if not completely at least effectively? Thank you!

It's the microphone itself made completely out of metal or is it plastic? or just some parts metal?

Yes, the microphone itself is all plastic. If you want all-metal body RGB mic, we still have the K651 and K658.
