Fifita was being offered 200k less, so in order for Fifita's move to be worth it, third party deals had to have been a part of it. Once the NRL investigates Ponga's case, they also have to investigate Fifita's case because of an outlier change in his value. So Fifita stays at Titans and keeps quiet about the conditions of the move and take whatever criticism the public gives.

That leaves $1.95m under the salary cap for 15 other players. The minimum figure under the salary cap from the RLPA is $130k, and 15 x $130k = $1.95m. Does anyone think players like the Butcher brothers, Connor Watson, Tupouniua and Billy Smith are ALL on the bare minimum? Of course they aren't, so the players in the table must be on much less, which would be way under their market value. If any Roosters supporter would like to show how they fit into a $11.65m salary cap with realistic salaries I'm all ears.
