Not keen on this arrangement of the theme tune. I do like Garry's shirt though. And Jeremy's tie. And John's voice. Bit harsh not to allow Geoff's playing cards answer I thought.

I thought the same. William G's judgement left a lot to be desired on many an occasion. There was hardly an episode where he didn't either disallow a perfectly correct answer or allow one that was totally wrong. I don't think he sometimes had much knowledge of the subjects he was questioning people on. I know I'm being a bit harsh on him, as he was only the host, but he did used to make a big deal of how thoroughly the questions were researched.

I thought William G was harsh on Jeremy with his 'playing cards' answer in the final. He insisted on him specifying 'suits' of playing cards. Suits of playing cards are still playing cards at the end of the day.
