​@saghinautofocus got Catcams 804s only brand that does a 256 profile and runs on original valve springs and lifters. It made 203bhp on a 3hr dyno session which is good for a NA. Next plan is turbo kit from Laurent motors in France. Can easily make 280 pushing 300 on standard internals. Will uprate the clutch and lighten the flywheel also.

It seems that Peugeot prevents Citroen from getting better. For example Peugeot now uses very economical 1.4Vti and 1.6vti engines but they only gave Citroen 1.6Vti, 1.4 is still the old engine. Also, the 1.6 THP you're talking about has 175 bhp in Peugeots car, 218 in 308 RC Z, but only 155 bhp in C4

They are both good cars. Gol slightly better built but I didn't find it as fun it just seemed too clinical for me and a bit dull. The C4's down point is it just doesn't have enough power. Rumoured to be a 1.6 Turbo petrol joining the line up soon with 175bhp remap should see it over 220bhp and around 200kg lighter than the VTS180. SHould be a fairly quick little car then.
