Most of you have missed the point of this car! It’s more an exercise in design and production methods. The idea is for a manufacturer to adopt the production method for their own cars. The new TVR is built using this.

Pity it doesn't look appealing enough. Don't understand why it had to have the same seating arrangement as F1. If you want great packaging, a couple of Kei-cars from Japan is the way to go. The Riversimple Hydrogen car, now that's really good thinking. From a design standpoint I think it's even got the same aerodynamic idea/principle as Aston Martin Valkyrie by F1 Engineer Adrian Newey.

Every few years we get somebody with the grand notion that they are going to resurrect TVR with a sports car dream,1200 cars a year,racing series,new models forecast etc. Pretty soon they are broke!,investors vanish and TVR returns to wait for another victim,like one of those trap door spiders!

If Apple started building these they'd price them so high that very few would be able to buy them and if they Iphone is any thing to go by it would probably bend when some one sat in it. saying that if the price was reasonable and you could order it as the black plastic without paint I'd give it a go.

Projected cost of it during the prototype was 6,600 pounds only if mass produced. Now if you put electric motor and batteries, it would have gone easily up t0 20k a pop or more, no sane person would buy it. Sir first go invent a light weight and very high density batteries then ask for a electric model. Tesla weights more then 4,500 pounds, making it worst car for the planet.

I live and work in the same city and on non-rainy days I take my motorcycle to work. Every car I have owned started rusting before mechanical problems. I would definitely drive a plastic micro car especially since I rarely get onto a road that has more than a 40 mile per hour speed limit. Electric would be better than gas. The company I work at has electric charging for cars in the lot already. The shopping center across the street has electric charging in their lot too.

its got some great technologies in there. however its got 1 wheel too many. the steering wheel has to go. very inefficient use of cabin space. self driving cars are the way of the future. while murray waxes lyrical about his love of the fiat 500, the t25 has all the style chrisima of the gee whizz.

you know a lot of families that have only one car? also it depends on what kind of service the buses and trolleys provide, in my county for example buses and trolleys are really bad. I would rather get stuck in traffic in my car for an hour than to get squished like a sardine in a bus for 15 minutes.

Actually, this is a car of the past... Murray has been developing the same car since the very end of the the 20th Century. I'm a huge fan for Murray, being a massive F1 fan but the T25 was irrelevant back when first conceived and I see still nothing has changed. He needs to drop this obsession and move onto something relevant and worthy of his talent and time.

I can't see it taking off. Milk bottle body? Cheapest possible materials, super eco friendly. OK so the rich people still buy the merc, jag, Lincolns etc, the broke people buy 2nd,3rd,4th hand. The only people who would be interested are the middle age, middle class assholes who want to be " trendy " then heavily regretting the purchase shortly after but justify their stupidity with being " eco friendly " my personal opinion on the thing is its fugly as. No style, no passion and only partially versatile. Rainy days will suck, windy days will suck, and hot days with being milk bottles and black might go all soft as well. The tango is a way better little car in same class but cooler looking, way faster and more practical.
