The fig you drew has fewer red elements than the sample fig, so I feel that the color is closer to the real thing👌. It looks delicious✨. I hope I am able to express my appreciation for this. I immediately was fascinated with the creation. What struck me is how you brought the colors and strokes together for a clear presentation of what this is. What I appreciated so strongly is that this wasn't replication of the subject matter but rather a creative effort without replication. I like how the plate was not perfectly a circle or the strokes were of varying thicknesses. The strokes of the fruit varied as well. It seems to that art was more or less about complete replication up until the time the camera came out. Before the camera paintings and drawings were our best technology for replication. Once the camera came out it seems to me to be more about the creative aspect of a painting or art. More emotion was then drawn out of the viewer. It is interesting to me that a few hundred years before the camera came out perspective around the world at least to replicated size rarely existed. I once watched a film on Artemesia, the 17th century Italian painter. When her mentor was training her, he would take an empty painting frame that one could see through inside the frame to a real world setting. He would then have her paint it. I really liked this because it taught one to take the 3D world and change it to a 2D world. It taught perspective in painting. Again, your painting brought me much enjoyment.
