Love that ingenious mini Kaweco ink converter design.

I held a Pilot Urushi recently and agree with you about the unique tactile feel of the pen with this coating. The nib is also outstanding in terms of the overall writing experience. My pen retailer tells me it’s difficult to find a pouch that will fit one.

I like ensso pens and have a few but my budget limited me to an urushi Pilot 845 and a Nakaya. I do like the feel of urushi!

I ordered the regular size Urushi Piuma to be delivered 4/2025! Can’t wait! I passed in this because I mistakenly thought posting the cap would scratch the body…didn’t realize it screwed on!

Come on Dave! Get serious. Putting a $500 pen in your pocket with keys, coins and a pen knife? Not going to happen. Having no clip makes it easier to fall out of said pocket too. With all your comparisons you left out the two best pocket pens on the market: the Hong Dian M1 and M2. They both come with a reasonably large converter and a nice clip. At around $20 bucks, it's loss is not going to break the bank but it might break my heart. I am also not a fan of limited editions: if it's a good idea let the market decide. All that said, I still love your reviews. I guess we just live in two different worlds.

Is the ink flow a function of the feed more so than the nib? Also, inks can have varying levels of flow. I find that I prefer using converters with my FPs as converters allow me to flood the feed to make for wetter writing experience.
