Fight Caves in the EoC Beta - 43 Minutes with Magic

The total time of the fight caves was 43 minutes using pretty much momentum only.
Fight caves in the EoC seem to be easier since the monsters hardly hit you making the chances of dying less.
I used full void mage to boost my damage output since it' the only armour to have a offensive bonus.
I used polypore staff because it's a 2h which has an increased damage and it also has a 5 pray bonus, and the chaotic staff has none.
I was using the water surge since most of the monsters in the cave are weak to it.
I also used Virtus wand and book for the lower monsters since it's a waste using 2h if you don't 1 hit them.
You can kill Jad now really fast using the metamorphosis ability and then asphyxiate to finish him off.

Magic is the way to go now since EoC follows the combat triangle more closely now and using magic on melee is way more effective and especially using the right spell.

Hey dardan, im not sure if anyone has mentioned, but i believe the range monsters (previous 90 combat) are weak to crush and not slash Really not a big deal at all, you're accurate on absolutely everything else. Otherwise, awesome work...keep up the good work boss

dont panic and use the safespot, if you stand in the certain divot only one spot where he spawns he can see you right away and its right next to you

Yes, They got significantly buffed. Its still easy if you safe spot it. I use like 2 potions an attempt with my stats only being around 80 straight across the board combat wise.

If you cannot use soulsplit, you may use the vampyrism aura. It heals 5% of what you hit and it lasts for 1 hour.

nice video, Do you think you can give me some monster suggestions where I can go practise range/mage/melee styles in the eoc. I want to learn the abilities and what they do properly, if you could also make like a video on pros/cons of using weaponry setups e.g staff vs wand/book/shield etc and a video on basic comboes to do while fighting i'd really appreciate it! i know its a lot to ask but i think a lot of people really need a guide like it!

If ur 90+ def and have soulsplit u can do kiln easily now, bring a ton of ppots tho, i only bring 1 rocktail incase, and pray switch on jads, basically all u need to know

Pretty sure the elemental spells no longer need combat runes. Thats why runes like deaths and bloods are crashing

In the eoc, combat spells on the normal prayer book don't have combat rune requirements(kinda weird but w/e).

hey dardan, i tested jad in the kiln but anyway if you wear range gear and pray range on jad you will rarely get hit and the max you get hit is like 5k, this is because of the combat triangle :p so i don't think people really need to even pray switch at jad anymore.

We had the Ganodermic method on live, so, same effect (but now its according to the triangle) :p

Dardan how have you found the fight caves with a wand rather than staff? I found a dual wielding tribrid setup very fast, sub 35 mins at best. I find the speed of wand+book is very useful for the small creatures and still wrecks the meleers.

Bloodfire is very powerful so if you have it use it since it works better than what this guy is using and 1 cast only costs and 150gp so in total you would spend about 45000 in casts (300 casts)

@theTookar Try black demons for range and maybe even mage, and melee on fire giants, just saying. There are of course alot of other monsters. I tried training on them.

After 2 hours of awfuly slow fighting I finally got to Jad. I was trying to kill him for 10 minutes, couldn't even kill the healers. And eventually I misprayed and died. What the fuck? I am fucking maxed combat!

Now anyone can do it though. No one needs to hit the familiars. The average player couldn't kill Jad in 3 seconds and you know that. 3 seconds was the record time and you had to have overloads/turm/claws/vengeance/rapier or cls. Also you had time it right and it was very high risk. Now you can prayer switch and kill Jad without having to deal with the healers which sis the hardest part imo. Although, I agree Jad was still a joke in live game with gano/soa etc.
