Fight Night Champion Boxer Classes Athleticism Attributes and Boosts Fully Explained

Congrats to Xbox 1 owners, you got backwards compatibility for Fight Night Champion this week. I made this vid to help out anyone new to the game, or anyone getting back into the game after many years off. I have an attributes charts, and the numbers for each boxer class you can pick (brawler, outside fighter, etc..). Be sure to pick the class you want to stick with, because you can't change it once you pick it without starting your boxer over from scratch. Great video, there needed to be an explanation on this for those whom didn't know. For anyone confused on buying the gold boosts, yes it works on the Xbox one and once you buy it is permanent and available to use whenever you want to build a new fighter. Example: You have a heavyweight already active in OWC then decide to buy the gold toughness. You can apply the upgrade to your current heavyweight. If you want to delete him and start fresh with a new fighter you will have the gold toughness boost to upgrade your brand new heavyweight. The gold boost is available for any heavyweight in the future but not middle or lightweight. The boosts are division specific.

The problem is that it's impossible to get the gold endurance boost without paying, because rivalry fights are not accessible now that the game is backward compatible. And boxer lvl 45 to get the gold speed? I'll never get there. I have all in gold except these two. I don't wanna pay damnit

I like boxer puncher, you don’t have to play one style and you can be dynamic. Sometimes I wanna get inside and throw bombs, but if the opponent is pressuring its easier sometimes to play the counter game and strike from the outside. I think that even it doesn’t excel in one area, it provides a great base to adjust to the opponent and make reads. Informative video.

to me it looks like a slightly lesser brawler with one more speed traded out with other things. if you have a brawler with reach and roy jones jr style you'll be amazing

i wish there was a guide that shows all the styles that each licensed boxer is in the game so fighting online is easier to fight that style that fits the fighter.

I built a middleweight...and after about 7 fights I got his r head uppercut to max and midway on jab...bit on chin and head movement... .I thought if I only got with 2 punch maxed out he'd bleed...but keep getting beat....except 1 guy I ko everytime...Lucas.....I fight like a lobster crab...I'm gonna start again with your advice on defense...but is it best to have a few killer punches or spread the xp around? ...thank you again in advance , sorry for yabbing on but when you meet cus , you talk to him till he walks away.

@@kupus6622 depends on your setup. Uppercuts are better for the inside fighters. I always did the straight right and fought as outside, like Lennox Lewis. Keep them away. You want to go with defense first, not offense. You can beat a guy with weak punches, but you can't beat a guy with a weak chin cause you'll be knocked out. Work on stamina and D first.

I've been trying to figure out what the different gyms for training period in Legacy Mode really do with the athleticism boosts. Been told they increase your athleticism in the highlighted categories if you do skill training? Sorry I just got the game and have been trying to figure out a good method to increase my athleticism stats and a little confused

hello, do you know which style would make goat difficulyy, or even which sliders, to make goat difficulty on legacy mode really challenging? rn im playing as joe frazier, my conditioning him in 106 so i literally never go below 80 stamina

I used CAB in my GOAT legacy and always built from the ground up. Legacy is easy early on and doesn't really get tough until you get older and slower. Best advice I can give is beat those bums early in your career then prepare to have some good fights at the end of your career. Sometimes id literally barely be able to stand up before they'd force me to retire.

if anyones interested...here are the totals conventional = 567 unconv = 574 brawler = 572 BP = 566 inside = 570 outside = 572 counter = 570 ....so unconventional has the best stats IF you rate them all equally

And I thought Brawler was the best . I like brawler because it has Speed ,toughness and stamina . I noticed with inside fighters, u got to finish em before round 4-5 b4 u lose strength/toughness

@@bigjunz2716 the stats are not equal in this game. for example someone with 100 refexes will lose to someone with 100 strength pretty easily if they spam. for OWC only brawler and inside are worth using. i tried outside for a while but its much easier to fight outside with a brawler than inside with an outside fighter if you get me. its a shame

Earned them for the most part. When I got back into the game I may have bought 1 or 2 since OWC was dead and tough to get a few. Been so long I can't remember exactly.

Hey vanilla - I’ve got a problem. So I reloaded FNC and it’s broken. I got past the EA terms issue. But every fight I’m fighting now (legacy mode) - the AI is fighting the same fight - different opponent but it’s the same default style every time. Every punch is worth the same damage, there are no stuns, nothing improves despite increasing skills with xp. It’s a glaring bug, but I’ve reloaded it three times and it’s just the same. Is anyone else having this issue?

I've seen this. Not much you can do. When you start your legacy are you adding created boxers? That has broke it for me before. If youre not doing that then I'm not sure man.

VanillaBeast hey, vanilla! Nope, I’m not loading the previously created boxers, tried creating, using existing, loading other saved careers and using the legacy fighters as they exist...no dice. If there is someone out there that only plays OWC, I’d ask them to try deleting, reloading and seeing if their digital copy does not do the same thing on legacy mode. I tried ‘fight now’ - doesn’t do it on ‘fight now’. Styles are fine. As soon as you begin just the amateur fights you’ll see it - AI crowds you close, constant blocks 90% of punches and despite throwing your best punch, no damage difference. Then fight AI with different styles as a professional in legacy mode... it’s very obvious, change difficulty to any setting, doesn’t matter. Perhaps this was a recent update or recent flaw. Mind you, I only deleted the old copy a few weeks ago and reloaded.

VanillaBeast update: ok, so I just talked with EA support (actually got someone on the phone). No resolution. They’re actually phasing the old games out. We know they stopped support on this quite a while ago, but yeah, no resolution. They don’t care, pretty sure the terms and conditions were not agreed upon....the pop-up just doesn’t appear anymore...so no more fight night... They want and are only concerned with their Madden/FIFA/NBA bucks

If you're in legacy mode it's designed that way to make it difficult as you age. They want you choosing your workouts carefully. Once you get older it's impossible to keep all your attributes up and you get slow.

Your wrong about the counter puncher bro the mechanics is you take most damage when your stamina is low while fighting counter puncher waits for those moments he has to still outfight because you’ll lose points on the card for not being agressive emough

I'm not sure what you mean. There's challenges for bronze, silver, and gold listed, but not for XP, it's for specific athletic boosts.

@@lucasdoglioli3602 it's all about how you like to fight, your style. I have online fights and tons of legacy fights on here if you want to see how I fight. Outside is the way to go to where your opponent down and get some big shots in from the outside.

Ok ppl so check this out. Try playing on legacy. It’s broken. I just asked a friend to try on his Xbox1 after giving it a go on the 360... EA cooked it. No more stylistic differences, advantages in speed, any particular punch, stuns, NOTHING... they completely ruined it. Something was done in the last few months (updated) that changed and ruined the entire game. It’s funny bc I didn’t notice it until about two weeks ago. It’s friggin dunzo. They ruined the best boxing game we have left, all bc they want ppl playing their video crack madden/fifa/nba. Give it a try! And reply to tell others how this changed! It’s junk now. Any changes to the owc play other than unsupported online servers?
