Just to clarify things: Not only joe louis has a special style but all heavyweight legends have special styles, though they are not allowed to be used with other boxers and custom boxers.

1:25 I found Power to be very good to use with cross guard since both the hand drop and idle animations are the same directions and positions that the cross guard uses when blocking

Love to hear your suggestion. Every time I play this game and throw combos it seems 1 to 2 extra punches always get thrown that I didn’t mean to throw. Like the analog stick is too sensitive and adds a few more punches even if you don’t mean to. I never had this problem with fight night round four. Is there a way to play this game where you literally have a one to one analog stick to punch ratio or do you also see additional punches being thrown like an extra right hand at the end of an exchange that you don’t recall even try to do on the analog stick?

To be honest sometimes the game is really glitchy in general. I punch using the buttons but I do find sometimes there will be an extremely random like delay before they respond to the input. Even then sometimes it does feel like extra punches get added on occasion or you press a button and they just never throw the punch so idk man 🤷🏾‍♂️

what am i missing about the hand drop? All of them looked kind of the same to me in terms of where they were thrown from - i.e. all jabs looked like they started from around the shoulder level

Look at sniper vs Louis. Some stances drop the hands lower meaning technically you’re more vulnerable and if someone got a stance where the hands start from higher then you have to throw under them to connect. Which also means technically they’re faster than you.

I've been getting great results with my current boxer. He's a 6'2 middleweight with an 82" reach. The Textbook guard, Out-boxer, Mummy style is what I use. I've noticed that most opponents only really land ~45% of their shots on me.

@@israelmoyet6671 I call it a phantom loss. Doesn't come up on recent fights but counts on your overall record. It mainly happens with alt accounts people make as the game doesn't recognise them. On some their record stats doe not show at all. It's terrible for the game.
