Fight Night Champion VS Undisputed Boxing | Which is BETTER?

A lot of people talking down on undisputed because they want EA to put out a fight night. I get it, but don't bash the only developers willing to make another boxing game and actually listening to the community.

I love the boxing physics as far as the punch animations and the way the body and head reacts to when these areas get hit. The drawback i don't like is that if you get knocked down in the corner or on the ropes, the referee will count you in the center of the ring. I hope they see this and fix that.

Undisputed most definitely. Round 3 was the last great Fight Night. Round 4 was good. Champion was not good imo. Why wasn't it good? Because of the blocking system being reduced to one button instead of making players learn when and where to block on their own. If I'm taking a body shot to either side I should have to block that area myself, not hope that the computer doesn't randomly allow the punch to go through. I don't EVER want to see that blocking system in a boxing game again. Even 2D fighters such as Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat use a more complex blocking/defense system. I say all this respectfully because I want the best possible boxing sim we can get and I'm a huge boxing fan

I mean let’s be real fight was ahead of its time when it came out and to say undisputed is the most realistic video game is crazy I mean it’s is but fight night is even more realistic they do need to fix refs, robes, longer intros, belts, adding the women holding the sign when you and your opponent is Conner clinching together and add a bigger roster will make the game more fun oh yea the blood too like the ref needs to be in the ring more than just the intro and the cut scenes and the knockout scene

Undisputed showed an update video of the fighter holding up the belt when you win..that’s changed for the full release…and they took clenching out completely for full release until it’s fixed later

@@made.fresh.daily.There is a simulation setting in undisputed which you have to turn on in the settings before a fight. The default is on a casual setting which makes it more arcade

Undisputed is not close to simulation, its arcade but not as polished as FN. You cant tell me throwing 500 haymakers and zero effect on the speed of the boxer is simulation.... That said, this is version 1 and EA took a good few games to get to the stage of FN4/C. Lets hope they can keep improving it and sort out the stamina / haymaker spamming nonsense.

Fight Night Champion is a funny game but extremely arcade. Undisputed is a deep boxing game with a huge potential. Fight night series has nothing to do with Undisputed.

I've played every Fight Night/Knockout Kings that's come out. I also played the Victorious Boxers and Boxer's Road series. They were all amazing. That said, they all had their flaws. I'm not afraid to call out any area that needs improvement. I like all three Fight Night games from the PS3/360 era, especially FNR3 and Champions. I literally bought the Xbox Series S off of my friend just to play FN Champions. That console is basically my Fight Night/Skate 3 machine. I just think that after 13 years and two generations of games, fans are going to be a bit sensitive about things not included in Undisputed. Especially since it's been in early access for some time now.

Undisputed hands down with better graphics, movement, presentation, and overall design. The physics system when it comes to angles and defense control is groundbreaking. I think a lot of us Fight Night fans are afraid of enjoying another title and the learning curve that it comes with. Don’t cheat yourself like I did. I bought into the early release and man…it was good and then bad and then it would get worse. I stood in there because I saw the goal. I have to say they have done something no combat sport on boxing has ever done. The movement, arenas, the physics system that makes you choose your punch wisely, the angles play a huge role on missing or landing your shots - the game is incredible. It will only get better and make other boxing titles competitive but I have to say Undisputed is gold after ten year waiting on EA. I got the early full release on the 8 of October and my guy…I can’t stop picking up the controller and playing. I see that you have to pick the right fighter for you. Then it’s like you really start understanding you have to really box not arcade punching but really pay attention to your opponent’s guard. You gotta be patient with a game like this but once you start putting the science together…the fluidity is rewarding. If I had to sum up the comparison between Fight Night and Undisputed, it would be like comparing Forza with Gran Turismo. Simulator versus arcade. Don’t buy into the hate cause that’s easy. Get you a copy and start playing so you can have fun. ✌🏽

I like both titles. On the comparison side, I’ll give the edge to Undisputed because it leans more towards a slower , technical “sim” aspect, where FNC is pure pick up and play arcade action fest. Like I say , they’re both solid, Undisputed can get more than an edge if they upgrade the career mode with some presentation and training mini games. Can’t agree on the FNC graphics tho, it’s washed out and muddy imo.

Look at this folks. They look like robots with sliding foot movements, with limited angles of punches. It looks nothing like this game at all. The fight looks so outdated that it makes no sense at all to even prefer that at all. looks horrible, way too fast. There's no sort of real energy drain, just throwing shots with no different speed of punches, and they all sound super loud. The punches all have the spring back to the arm. There's no time to bring the punches back in a realistic way. To say FN is somehow better based off of punch impact only is very strange, when all the other stuff I named, which looks horrible, shows up in this video, along with all the other missing angles, FN doesn't have that undisputed People who understand how boxing should be never wanted it to be how it turned out. I didn't play it much, champion, for the reasons I even noticed back in the day.

So I don't want to say FNC is better............ but! I played FNC. I was US Champion at one point online, so I played religiously. And yeah man there are things undisputed can take away from FNC... a bunch of things that would goat Undisputed in it's own right. But I'm just hoping and being optimistic lol I'll still play the game cause I love boxing. I box irl, i'm a fan. But i'll say this too... the developers got big headed over time. There are people that trash the game, and there are those that give positive criticism (i'm one of those). I have DMs with these guys on IG from the days where hey were just a team of 13 people in that studio. Over time, they stop listening. Cause some of the same comments that you mentioned, that i've made, i sent these dudes a 2 page word document. Cause they asked for it. Ain't seen none of them shits implemented lol So the devs can make or break the game. cause they've been focusing hard on the gameplay. ignoring the small details. SHOULD it be better than 13 year old FNC? Yes! is it currently better than FNC based on the early access? Hell no. BUt i'll reserve my final judgment for when the game comes out.
