@stalebread2598 Oh I'll play legit hourglass sometimes for sure. But it's such a grind that I like to make dice rolls fun, take advantage of the double xp. I'll even trade fish for wins if the other person is down. And if they don't want any of that, it's a nice easy free sink for them

The hacker/aimbot situation is honestly making this very difficult. Rare needs to do something about it. It's always the god tier cannon shot aim that is highly suspect at first, then the teleporting pirate on your ship. There are very few ppl I suspect who can actually land far distance cannon shots and yet these hackers are doing it the second you get into hourglass battle.

I've meet 2 cheaters in the last 2 days and the fight was horrible. Luckily I made clips to prove my reports because otherwise neither of the 2 cheaters would have been banned.

It's called practice bro, I've got over 200 hrs in sot and yes I struggle to land distant shots at first but once my shot is on, I have no problem landing shots at max range Gally vs Gally or smaller ships, it's not that they are hacking it's a skill gap issues, get better, ud b surprised on how good some people in the comp community actually are. Stop getting mad and get better

They should make this a weekly thing Also they need to add more rewards for both sides between 200 and 1,000 Dad and add a TDM mode in to hourglass where instead of spawning driving at each other, you spawn in a private server with a random seafort or Island with both the Your boats parked at it each side has 10 respawns. When you run out you lose and your boat sinks and you get kicked out, the other side can pick up your flag and then they get teleported back to the regular server These changes I think could be a huge impact on hourglass And something about the cheaters and hit reg obviously. But I didn't feel the need to get into the detail on those because we all know

It is only to allegiance. You won't get extra gold or progress with companies

Over the weekend so far, I've literally run into cheaters every other (if not each consecutive) match. Players with uncaptained, default cosmetics on both ship and pirate that are instantly landing cannon shots from second one... yeah its extremely obvious they're cheating. Caught a couple dozen players teleporting onto our boat (like we knock them off the boat at the back of the ship and immediately we are shot in the back by that same person already standing on our bow, or literally before we even emerge from the water there's someone running around on our boat stabbing us) and people teleporting into our cannons. And on the other side of the coin, I've also run into a lot of players that were absolutely ridiculously skilled. They don't hit every shot, but like me, they know about where to aim based on how far they guess the enemy ship is and then within 2-3 shots have dialed in the exact range and are laying down the law. Sometimes its a very fine line between cheater and pro, but I 100% understand that right now there's a massive surge of cheaters going on with this weekend. Especially boosting services (people using smurf cheat accounts to rapidly win games for someone who is paying them real money), of which I've run into several. If you have recording software, record every single instance of suspected cheating and review the footage later, then if you think its actually cheating, upload the video to Rare's forums and get them banned. Its much faster and more reliable than in game reporting. And if you suspect boosting, make sure you add that in your comments too because those services are 100% illegal and those people running them can legit face prison time and huge fines.

You can also try to get into a different matchmaking stamp, by quitting to the main menu and starting up a new ship. It's not perfect, but you'll probably at least get a few different fights before you may run into the cheater again
