The dominant gorilla Mjukuu unexpectedly started cleaning Effie's feet. This was a little strange since after the babies were born there was some tension and mistrust between two mothers.
And suddenly they started fighting. At that same time 2 baby gorillas were at the epicenter of the fight. Silverback Kiburi quickly stopped the conflict. Baby gorillas do not appear to have been physically harmed, but they were clearly scared.
