It's an extreme sport, not attention craving. They do it to test the limits of their abilities and improve themselves every time. Most whitewater kayaker never even think of exposure, they just want to challenge themselves. I love whitewater kajaking, although I've never dropped from a waterfall, I had dine pretty risky and difficult rivers. It's all about improving yourself in a sport you love.
