This movie was originally announced back in 2008. The first Sherlock Holmes movie that had Downey Jr was released a year later. So i guess it was meant to be a mockbuster for that movie, but it went through development hell so didn’t release until much later.

Awesome tribute to the RDJ Sherlock Holmes. Tbh my favorite Part of the Guy Ritchie Movies, was when he goes to the slowmotion visualisation before taking out a foe. Too bad that Guy Ritchie won't direct the 3rd Sherlock Holmes Movie. If we are lucky, the new director keeps it as a stylistic device for the RDJ Sherlock. Hopefully without overusing it, because it was more of a subtle thing in the other two movies. Seriously Guy is a Master of his craft and he proved he can write and direct this 'franchise'. So why change horses for the last movie of the trilogy?
