Can you customize the fight box for smash bros or it it only the arcade ones

How to install firmware?

I would definitely recommend using the firmware it comes with, but if you want to change it you can put the box into bootsel mode by holding start while plugging it in to your PC

Hey, thanks for making this video! I'm thinking of buying one now, but I have a few questions. On your site, I saw that you listed PS3 under compatibility, were you able to test that? I don't see it listed anywhere on Fightbox's own website. :/ Then also, do you know if it may or may not work with a Brook adapter for PS4/PS5? I'm thinking of using it both for Smash and traditional fighters so I'm just curious if I'd be able to use it on console without changing out the board entirely.

Sadly don't have a PS3 to test this with, so I can't help you there. I have used a pico-rectangle with a Wingman FGC for SF6, and it worked no problem, so this should be no different. For customization, make sure you are using the highest resolution image possible, and you can borrow the template for art from Frame1 just to get an idea of what will fit on the R1

@@FateZiggy I actually ended up ordering one a couple days ago. When it comes, I'll test it out on my PS3 and I'll let you know how that goes but it's reassuring that you got a pico-rectangle working with the Wingman. Thanks again for everything, I'm super excited to get into it when it arrives!

So, I couldn't figure out a way to get it working on pico-rectangle, but I just flashed to Haybox and was able to use my controller on PS3 natively in DInput mode. In FGC mode, the buttons are mixed around and in Third Strike (only 3S for some reason?) it always reads the controller as holding up-left. Aside from 3S, at least you can just remap and play like normal. Will update again if I find a fix.

i just bought one and it's great, but the switches keep falling out! Do you know any fixes?

The switches are falling out, not the buttons? That would be a rather odd issue, definitely worth contacting over. They've got an email on the site

No need! I fixed it myself by adding a bit of masking tape onto 2 sides of each switch socket to tighten the tolerances.@@FateZiggy
