As a Ryu lifer, 2 things.....one that SF3 2nd Impact Ryu theme hits so damn hard, loving it. And 2, seeing good Ryu play always piques my interest because it does take certain levels of skill to excel in not only this game but back on SF5 as well. I hate the tier-whoring with Luke, JP and so forth so seeing the iconic Ryu beating their @$$e$ brings joy to me. Awesome vid

I always liked Ryu but this Ryu, when compared to everyone else in SF6, just looks boring. He's pretty standard. Truly the Mario jack of all trades.

I picked em up and got em to diamond from just placement matches, so he rewards a strong neutral and spacing, feel like sf4 when playing him

This is as good as Ryu has ever been in the series, he's supposed to be boring. The man is all about patiently reading his opponent and destroying them when he sees an opening. If you want flashiness in your Shoto, he's not the one, simply pick Ken.
